These views are insane! And the hike is about 15 minutes up and vertical! It’s a ridgeline hike, so the dropoffs on either side are steep… but there are enough sturdy rocks to hold onto on the climb up and descent down.

Bring a headlamp for sunset so you can see coming down. The sunrise hike is amazing. 360 degree views and cool at night for sleeping in the van.

You can sleep at the parking after you do the hike to Los Picachos de Ola. Not big rig friendly (we almost didn’t drive through the gate as we are very wide (2m3).
It’s 2$ per person to hike and 5$ for the van to sleep (no toilet or shower)

FYI: we couldn’t reach the summit as one of us has height fears. The end is like climbing on an edge..
