Same concept. NGO, working with community to create alternative livelihoods to reduce poaching and wood chopping. Similar facilities as previous camp, only difference being that it's s a bit further from the tar road. You have to drive a little bit through the village. Also not the easiest place to get for larger vehicles because of small road, but it is possible. There's only signal for Airtel or Zamtel simcards. MTN only when you find a high spot!
Prices are $7.50 pppn, contributing to the NGOs work.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to know Lars and Kelly personally because we accidentally "ended up" at the old place. Nevertheless, the two answered us many questions about the Kafue National Park via Whatsapp. Great people, thank you very much!

Rudimentary but functional and extremely friendly campsite. A great project to support. Sam and his team are very friendly and committed.
Access to the new camp is not easy to find. Above all, do not follow MapsMe which will lead you on impossible tracks. Turn south from the M9 at -15.02075 26.85993, follow this main track to a fork at -15.03005 26.85895 and take the small track off to the right. Continue to the small camp buildings.
