Cono de Arita | Wild Camping

Bivouac au parking du Cono. Très silencieux la nuit, nous avons eu un seul passage de convoi de camions au milieu de la nuit. Pour nous, aucun vent… mais aucune protection au vent. Aucun service Claro.
Le matin, nous avons même eu la visite d’un renard.

Beautiful place ! We came from tolar grande and it’s 1:30. Washboard but totally doable for anyone.
Perfect to sleep on the small parking lot to witness sunset and sunrise.

The road from Tolar Grande is not easy, 1h15 for us with our 4x4 truck. We arrived at the end of the day, for the sunset (which was not good …), spend the night on the little parking, 2 or 3 trucks pass during the night. In the morning, no wind and awesome view. With the drone you can see the shadow of the cono.

Stayed here overnight. Its so magical when the sun rises up! Magic ☀️

This is the parking lot of Cono de Arita. We arrived at night and slept here, to wake up with the sun rising behind the Cono. It was a quiet night, only a few cars and buses from the mine passing before 10 pm. From 09am some tour cars arrived here to visit the Natural Monument.

Esse é o estacionamento do Cono de Arita. Chegamos à noite e dormimos aqui, para acordar com o som nascendo por detrás do Cono. Foi uma noite tranquila, somente alguns carros e ônibus da mina passando antes das 22h. A partir das 09h alguns carros de tour chegaram aqui para visitar o monumento natural.

Lindo Wild Camping em frente ao Cono. O caminho de Antofagasta até aqui é Maravilhoso.
