United States
State Trust Land, permit required. Law enforcement has begun increased ticketing for violations.
There are several spots with fire pits just a few meters off the paved access road. Far enough away from the highway to just hear faint background noises. Nice views, and due to the accessibility made a great quick overnight spot for us. Also, good Verizon coverage.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is actually on Temple Bar Rd.
Nice spot, quiet and clean. You get a Red blinking light show from the wind Turbines . Would definitely come back.
As described. Got some work done with that sweet, sweet cell service.
I like the view of all the wind turbines in the daytime but I must admit the field of synchronized flashing red lights at night is a little unsettling.
Report Check-InStayed two nights, no issue, mostly as described. This is state trust land not blm. Permit is required. Easy to check satalite imagery for where people have driven off the road. Plenty of space.
Report Check-Inplusieurs endroits de gravier assez large. nous y avons passé la nuit. paysage magnifique et très tranquille. se fait très bien avec un vr.
Report Check-InPerfect spot with a view of a wind turbine field in the distance.
Report Check-InQuiet, easy access, no neighbors around! I was a little hesitant to pull up here after dark but didn't have any problems at all. Would recommend
Report Check-Ini checked on the blm map and temple bar road falls outside the blm land yellow overlay (see photos). so there are spots, but its not blm.
Report Check-InNice large flat spot with mountain views and no highway noise. Pass the dirt road that goes along the power line and another partial pull-out then you will see the pull-out that goes to several large flat areas. It is big-rig friendly, we had no problems in with our 22' trailer, just a slight dip when you first pull off the paved road, hardly any traffic on temple bar road so very quiet at night, we were the only ones here. Not far from Willow Beach and Arizona hot springs trail, would stay again for sure.
Report Check-InRanger from Willow Beach suggested to camp here on Temple Bar rd. BLM land.
