Large gravel lot behind Speedway. A police officer told me to park here. Truckers also park here overnight

Just a gravel parking lot, but pretty leveled. Was the only RV last night but there was 2-3 semis also. Some noise but nothing to worry about. I also confirm with Speedway that it's ok to park in the gravel lot bécasse of the sign and they said it's fine. Nobody bothered us.

Report Check-InLarge gravel lot behind Speedway. I was going to stay at the city government parking lot (see other listing) and asked a police officer if that was OK. He called his supervisor, who recommended this lot instead, as a safer location. It's city property and truckers often spend the night here. In retrospect, I think the government lot would have been quieter. There was quite a bit of traffic noise here and a truck or two came in late at night to park.
Note there's a sign that says No Overnight Parking. I asked at Speedway and they said it pertains to their own lot, which is the paved portion. The gravel lot belongs to the city.
