Latest Check-Ins

This place is marked as closed, however folks have been staying here without a problem.

Report Check-In

This place is not closed. Went in and asked and was told "of course you can stay". There were 5 or 6 other RVs that spent the night without a problem. I would stay here again.

Report Check-In

Stayed here in a van. There were tons of RVs, a converted bus, and a tour bus parked here too. I asked inside and they said it was okay to park. Felt safe.

Report Check-In

I parked on the far back right as you face the store w a few other RV's and vans. Pretty quiet. 3 tmobile 5g bars. No issues.

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 nights. Drove 142 miles in 32mph winds and took an extra day to recover. Still windy the next day, just not as intense.

1st night, there were at least a dozen of us + 3-4 semi's escaping the wind.

No issues at all.

Report Check-In

There are some small no overnight parking signs near the entrance. They aren't plastered everywhere like some places. Based on some previous comments I thought I'd try it. Another camper there saw me and came over to tell me he called and they said they don't permit overnight parking. They recommended the big lot behind the store (also on iOverlander). To avoid any potential hassle I moved on over there. By late evening I walked to Domino's and there was probably 5 campers in Walmart, guessing with plans to spend the night. It's unclear if there is actually any enforcement here on it.

Report Check-In

large lot and relatively flat. half a dozen rvs and a few semis overnight.

Report Check-In

drove the whole parking lot, no "NO CAMPING" signs to be found. didn't see a sign on the drive in.

currently parked here with 3 trailers, 4 RVs, and 2 other vans. confirmed with another camper that they called and got the OK from the store.

I confirmed with a police officer inside store that camping in vehicle is NOT illegal within city limits, either.

Report Check-In

There absolutely is signage saying no overnight parking. Whoever said they didn’t see it… I would advise glasses bc it’s clear as day. I asked one of the motels down the street if I could take over a parking space and they let me. Felt safer than a Walmart knock in the middle of the night. No thanks byeeee.

Report Check-In

Just stopped in for a few things. In the parking lot, no “no overnight parking” signs. One post mentioned there was one at the entrance, but I didn’t see it.
Clean store. Several helpful employees, and shelves appeared to be stocked well (including meat and produce).

Report Check-In

there’s a sign at the entrance saying no overnight parking - but clearly a few big rigs and RVs taking the risk anyway. i’m gonna skip it!

Report Check-In

We asked inside if we can park all night with our 19ft RV. No problem, they recommend on the to park on the right side when you arrive in the parking (store in front of you).
Many other camper slept there too.

Report Check-In

We stayed here on 12/4/22 with at least a dozen other campers and had no issue at all. Stocked up with food and supplies at Walmart and they also had the cheapest gas in town so we filled up. Quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Despite at least 20 RVs and 6 semis in the lot, an employee approached me on arrival to inform me he was calling the tow truck(s) in 30 minutes.

Report Check-In

Nicest WM I’ve encountered in last 9 months on road. Friendly staff, stocked well, easy to navigate. Lots of us crashing in back right corner. Kind hospitality.

Report Check-In

Good stopping place. big, flat parking, quiet at night. has wifi.

Report Check-In

Lots of rigs and campers of all sizes. Typical Walmart lot, would stay again. Wi-Fi worked well enough

Report Check-In

Stayed here the night of March 25/23. No ‘no overnight parking’ signs in the main parking lot. They are only around the side of the store behind the garden section. Lots of RVs and semis overnighted here with us with no issues. Didn’t ask permission. No loud intercom music either. It was a Saturday night, so possibly the reason there were idiots in loud vehicles showing off.

Report Check-In

Great place we got here early in the morning and worked all day. Stayed the night with no issues. Great T-Mobile and verizon service.

Report Check-In

Typical Walmart with a gas station. Lots of vans and RVs in the lot, lot is somewhat small. There was music playing all night from radios in the parking lot that was annoying and kept me up most of the night.

Report Check-In

Ended up staying 3 nights total. Cold and windy. Popular place. Rigs came and left

Report Check-In

Wow! This is a busy place. There were 20 of us last night plus trailer trucks. As people left this morning more pulled. I think a stopping place on the way to AZ. The only complaint I had is the Walmart played there outdoor music way too loud. Woke me up a couple of times.

Report Check-In

Still good place to stay. There were about 10-15 trailers here. Pretty quiet. Nobody bothered me

Report Check-In

Still a great spot. 8 RVs or Vans and about 7 semis in adjacent dirt lot. Just wanted to bump it to show it is still available. 3 bars 5G AT&T. And WalMart wifi.

Report Check-In

Nicer Walmart parking lot. As said before it is a small lot but far enough away from the Highway that it is only minimally heard. Probably about 6 other rigs here at 5pm. We weren’t going to travel this far today but had to go to Stockton Ford to have some work done (they were very helpful and highly recommended) and didn’t see the need to travel 45 minutes further north from Big Bend since that’s where we’re headed tomorrow.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 5 pm. Already 3 other rigs on our side , more on other side. Walmart employees very friendly. Large selection of RV supplies in Walmart. Of course I supported the store by buying groceries and other supplies-I can always find something I need at Walmart! RVers seemed very respectful of Walmart-parked far away and stayed inside rv-no generators heard or camp chairs seen. Very clean store and parking lot.

Report Check-In

Nice clean parking lot and store. There were trains going by until 11pm or so. Also, there are speakers in the parking lot that played the in store radio station all night. It wasn’t too loud.

Report Check-In

Small Walmart parking lot, fairly flat. About 15 RVs here. Quiet.

Report Check-In

This Wal-Mart has a smaller than normal parking lot for a Wal-Mart.
There is a very large parking lot behind Wal-Mart next to La Quinta that would be much better than getting Wallys lot so crowded that they stop allowing any of us from over fighting in their lot.

Report Check-In

Ótimo lugar para estacionar e dormir, 24h, banheiros limpos, tinha outros motorhomes durante a noite. Tranquilo e seguro. Internet funciona bem na frente do Walmart.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 5pm and already about 4 RVs parked. By the night there were a lot more, on both sides of the parking lot. A smaller Walmart with smaller parking lot. Never asked permission since everyone else here. Was never bothered.

Report Check-In

Parking lot under construction which limits spots. Larger rigs also using 5-6 spots may make for a tight stay.

Report Check-In

Walmart parking. At least 10 other people camping out here. Mostly RVs. Pretty quiet as far as Walmart lots go.

Report Check-In

There is a large parking area just before you turn into Walmart. Yes, no shade, but plenty of level parking. Dirt/grass area to walk dogs. Arrived around 2:30p and already a number of rvers here - not too many options in this town of about 8500 people. Next exit is Love’s and they have showers.

Report Check-In

Small town but good place to stay overnight

Report Check-In

It is not small.
Huge párking lot with no shade.
