Description

Every Cracker Barrel lets you sleep in the back of their parking lot. Big parking in between the restaurant/shop and a hotel.
You can hear noises from the highway but if you’re looking for one night (nothing fancy, just to sleep and leave) this is a good spot. They let you go to the bathroom too during opening hours.
We slept here with 1 car and 2 small RVs. No one bothered us.
Great cellphone reception 5 bars of 5G for me.

On doit aller dans la partie gravel derrière. Il y a des itinérants mais ils ne dérangent pas. C’est près de l’autoroute donc un peu bruilant, mais nous avons bien dormi

Got a knock from the police at this site at 10am letting me know cracker barrel here doesn't want camper presence in their back lot

Report Check-In

Behind Cracker Barrel is the RV parking. Next to it, is a dirt lot then a hotel all set against the highway. The area next to the highway is where the homeless live. A couple are obviously on drugs but will not bother you if you ignore them. Park closer to Cracker Barrel or if a larger rig wanting to park in dirt lot park closer to the roadway you came in on. Like I said, ignore them. For us, we travel full time as missionaries so we feed the homeless and help them as much as we can. But that’s not everyone and that’s fine. I noticed if I don’t make eye contact and turn my head, they will not approach you. The only man who did approach us, was actually a man trying to sell cell phone service. The high way is loud, but that is the exchange for a free night stay. Cracker Barrel staff was pleasant as always. Gas, fast food and coffee in same lot. Only 5 minutes from Costco snd 15 from Sam’s. Hope this helps clarify. Also no trash cans are available at this location so please discard trash before or after your stay. 😇

Drug action going on all over the parking lot. I don't self safe

Report Check-In

standard Cracker barrel, lots of freeway and train noise but otherwise no problems

Report Check-In

Do not stay here overnight!! Restaurant is very nice to eat at and parking lot is lit. The trouble is there are people hanging out in the parking lot all through the night yelling, swearing and doing whatever you do when up all night in a parking lot. Homeless, selling drugs not sure. Left once it was clear they were not moving on. Went south for 30 min to the TA travel plaza. Paved RV lot, very safe, slept like a baby.

Report Check-In

We spent the night parked here. Relatively quiet. Nobody bothered us.

Previously mentioned tweaker problem seems to have been taken care of. Lot was completely empty and clean, not even garbage! Traffic noise because its by the interstate but perfectly fine otherwise.

Horribe. I suggest spending 15 minutes to drive to the flying J up the 95 which is better for every reason. I left Cracker Barrel because of extremely sketchy tweaker/drug action going on all over the lot - and I am not a person who spooks easily. When I got there a couple of very homeless looking campers were there but it seemed fine, but it turned out a constant stream of sketchy tweaker characters were traversing the lot - walking or on bicycles, shouting, etc.

I got so spooked I left. Turns out that the Flying J is much more quiet, has a massive lot far from the 99 (the Cracker Barrel is also extremely loud) and just all in all much better. Don't waste the time that I did.

Stayed here for one night, arrived around 8pm and there were already 2 other campers. We all stayed around the back of the Cracker Barrel (between the restaurant and the hotel), no issues and felt safe. I could hear the noise from the freeway but not enough to stop me sleeping.

Report Check-In

A lot of space for rv parking between the restaurant and hotel. Got the knock at Walmart down the road so we came here. Seems good for us for the night!

Report Check-In

Decent spot for a one night rest. About 6 other cars/RVs were parked here for the night. Well lit parking lot. Only bad thing is there were a group of homeless camped out in the lot as well, so wasn’t feeling 100% safe here.

Arrived here at around 8:30 on a Friday night. There were already 3 other vans in the RV spots. (One was from Switzerland)
We picked a level spot in the back corner and went in for dinner. Have not ate at a CB in years and it was really good!
It was noisy very early in the morning with leaf blowers and trash trucks. Lots of road noise, but that is all expected for the location.
We would definitely stay here again while passing through. Safe, well lit overnight spot with good food and a Dutch Bros next door.

Report Check-In

Probablement l'un des Cracker Barrel le plus bruyant qu'on ait fait. Quelques sans abris ici et là, mais personne ne nous a dérangé.

Your standard Cracker Barrel. Pretty loud traffic noise most of the night but it’ll do for a night
