Leave highway and follow FSR past the "chain stop" and keep right and up the hill past levelled service area about 1 lm. The site is on a bend and about 50m x 50m level and cleared gravel. We found a couple of fire pits so used one and made use of the abundant dead wood in the area. There is a power line overhead but you dont have to park under it if this bothers you.

Steep slope up. Mozzies. 1 bar lte telus sometimes. Can hear a bit of highway
Report Check-InOne of the best place we found so far! On the way to Kamloops from Jasper, past Thunder River. Just go up a bit. We set up camp under the power lines, where it's flat. Wonderful view on the mountain!
The Children of the Earth were blessed with this place!
