Description

We went here, because Hostal Qhia cannot accommodate vans. American owned motel outside Santa Fe. You can camp behind the motel in the grass (not level), in front of a palapa-style structure (more a covered terrace). Be aware that is can be muddy in the rainy season. It is quite close to the road, but there is not much traffic. When we were there, the motel was fully booked and in the restaurant there was a function. So the chef cooked some takeout to eat in the van for US$ 7 per plate, A shower, toilet combination is at the back of the building. With TP and clean. Slow Wifi did reach the van. Camping US$ 8 for van and 2 persons.

Great spot for a night…so many no see ums! We got eaten alive! You park on the side of the hotel, $5/car. Not very level but doable for a night! The restaurant is no longer open but they sell drinks. The bathroom is pretty clean we never used the shower.

Very pleasant beautiful small hotel on the outskirts. Only $5 for 2 in a van. Restaurant open from 6am to 5pm. Very friendly staff. But on some evenings it had NO SEE UMS. still highly recommend this place. Stayed there 3 nights. 20 min by feet you can swim in a river, very nice

Very good option. Close to the road, but not noisy. 8 dollar per night. Ask for discount. We payed five per car per night.
Nice garden.

Report Check-In

$8 per car per night. Very peaceful with beautiful views property. Walking distance to town. Owner speaks English. Rustic bathroom and shower but clean.

Report Check-In

Friendly people who also speak English welcomed us. $8 per night. Bathroom, shower, electricity if needed but no wifi. Close to the road but grassy area. 1km to town. Good for night or two.

Report Check-In

Staff advised us to park in back of motel although not level like a spot in front would have been. But closer to bathroom this way. Wifi so slow unusable. Toilet in bathroom only works by using bucket of water - hard flush. But clean. Restaurant and bar not open or maybe only sporadically. Approx. 1 km uphill to Santa Fe.

Report Check-In

Not a great spot, close to the main road but OK. 5 USD per night. Toilet and shower very clean.

Report Check-In

You can park in front of a open garage building. From there it is possible to plug in for electricity. They have WiFi in the front section of the hotel/restaurant. The bathroom with toilet and shower looked also clean. When we were there a really seriously sick looking dog was tied up in the garage building running around and barking a lot. It would have been 8$ for two people in a car with a rooftop tent per night, but we went somewhere else.
