Something not right?

Description

What a lovely old town bursting with boats, restaurants, breweries and fun things to see and do.
We parked right along Front Street not far from all the shops. There are picnic tables here and garbage cans. There’s a public toilet to the west and if we stay here another night we may park closer.
There are no “ no parking signs” I asked one of the shop owners if we’d be ok parking here overnight and she said we’d be fine. In the high season they bring in meters and might not allow it but in the month of November it seems to be fine.
The Outer Banks are beautiful and might be worth reserving a boat ride over to explore them more closely.
Fishtowne Brewery offers bingo every other Thursday! Check in to see if it’s on when you get here! You can bring in your own food

Stayed overnight in our 22ft sprinter. Quiet night after 10pm with little to no traffic in the area. It is the offseason of course so that certainly helps. We were not bothered at all. On other RV further down parked as well. Great little town with much to see and do. Highly recommend.

stayed in parking spot 7 overnight off-season (november) without issue. woke up to some construction on a nearby pier. there is a public bathroom a few blocks toward town at “dockhouse” which is convenient. cute town.

Awesome place to park overnight, right on front street, next to shops, restaurants, marina, public parks with grassy areas, picnic tables, public docks. Watch sunrise and sunset over the marina right from the camper. No signs. Nobody bothered us. They say in July and August there are signs.

Awesome place to stay if you want the small town feel. Our 177 extended sprinter would not fit on the spaces on Front street, but we parked on Marsh Rd just across the street. Highly recommend! Locals are very friendly. We even met a future van lifer here and spent a good time talking with her.

Stayed here one night, parked on the ocean side near a park and small beach. There are signs that say 24 hour maximum stay. Nice location near restaurants and bars.

Great little town with kind locals and yummy food. We parked for 2 nights and no one bugged us, just curious folks asking about our bus. Be kind and respectful, don't litter and this little gem will be around for all the campers looking for a place to rest their weary heads.
