Latest Check-Ins

Nice spot, not good for longer TTs due to the driveway having a deep ditch. Vans or truck campers, popups may be ok.

Flat narrow area near trail head. No one here at all! Nice flat trail to explore.

Report Check-In

Trailhead with a couple parking spaces for small RVs/campervans. No big rigs.

Report Check-In

Pleasant enough place to sleep for the night, but a surprising amount of road noise, even though we tucked round behind the trees at the end of the short trail.

Report Check-In

We stayed here 4 nights in a row while exploring and hiking the glaciers in the area. Never saw a bear, though we did see scat. Scenery is beautiful and the site was peaceful. Convenient to trailheads.

Report Check-In

Gravel area near Portage with space for 4-5 campers and one picnic table. Not visible but some noise from the road. If you close the windows it´s fine.

Report Check-In

Nice spot on the river. Hiking trails right here are a bonus, though I'd carry a sidearm or bear spray to be safest. We pulled in and setup camp, and not 30 minutes later, at 6:15pm a black bear walked behind our camper, got up on the picnic table and sniffed around before wandering away towards the water. Be bear aware here.

Please pack your trash out so it stays looking good!

Report Check-In

Road noise is tolerable, train did go by around 0730 but the waterfall across the road drowned it out. Did have a bear try to break into the camper at 0230 so be careful.

Fantastic place with great hiking trail right here. About 5-6 spots for camper and 3 tent sights. Great location, spent two nights here. Pit toilets can be used at closest campground (1/2 mile) if you are discreet.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot. About 3 campsites. Some highway noise.

Nice and easy access to some good trail in the Chugach national forest. It’s free and beautiful even with table at some spot. Good for kayaking right to the water with nice views around. A very beautiful spot.

great spot on the creek. we had a couple of neighbors but the separation was good. also right on the trail so a few people walked by. Couldn barely the road despite being pretty close.
