Campground like a big parkinglot at the lake. Don't know the prices, because as we asked for dry camping, they showed us a big parking lot (grassy area) oppsite the camping. This does not belong to the camping, we could stay there for free, but were allowed to use the clean restrooms of the camping.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Fin de saison, le camping et la marina était fermé. belle vue sur la rivière des Outaouais, pas de signes d’interdiction de camping.
End of season, the campsite and the marina were closed. beautiful view on the Ottawa River, no signs prohibiting camping.
Report Check-InLike another reviewed, it is a pretty spot by the lake but squeezed in and charged $52 for no services and the spot was in the woodsy section. if I had a tent with me it would only be 25. but because I'm sleeping in my van it was 45. I needed just wi-fi and a shower so I paid it.
The showers are interesting. you have to hold the handle the whole time you want the water running. not great with long hair. but I got my shower. Then the guy td me the wifi is "not good." try non-existent at the site. I ended up moving to the big parking lot as the people next to me were chain smoking and I couldn't stand it.
Report Check-InCamping was closed. But was able to boondocks in one of the spots. Nice view.
Report Check-InMarina de Montebello.
28$ pour la nuit entre les VR sur une belle parcelle en herbe. Calme et très agréable.
During the summer this well located camping space is understaffed and not entirely well managed. We were told that a stay in a non serviced site in our van was 45$ a night, but at check in we were charged 28$ because we were sleeping inside our van?? The sites were not marked off, we were told to just squeeze in. Shortly after another rig showed up and parked in front of another camper as he was told to squeeze in also, except there were no more natural or obvious spaces left. It was becoming very tight. The free field that another reviewer mentioned is not free, its 25$ per night, no service, but there is endless space in this location. Its part of the Auberge de Montebello, you also get access to their pool. Bathrooms at the marina are good, there is also a pump out and wifi. Its a visually pretty, well located but overall too busy, and a mediocre location at best.
Report Check-In40$, mais juste à côté un grand champ gratuit !
Nuit très calme.
we asked also here for dry camping but the guy from the reception said it is not possible, the regular campsites cost 40$, we went further
