The Zion National Park entrance sign. Popular spot for photos.
Note: No long term parking (unattended vehicles) is allowed here. Absolutely no camping or overnight use. Heavily patrolled by rangers.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No roadside camping is allowed in Zion National Park. All of the vehicles parked here unattended had orange stickers warning they would be towed if not moved. Rangers patrol this area heavily and you will definitely be told to leave if camping here. It’s just a blatantly obvious spot to try to stealth camp.
Even if camping were allowed here. This is literally the Zion National Park sign. Very crowded with large tour buses and people taking photos with the sign.
Report Check-InSadly we had a park ranger pull up on us and asked us not to park here overnight. I guess you could get lucky if no one came past but I’d recommend the BLM land further down the road
Report Check-InSpot literally AT the "Zion national park" sign. We parked on the left side heading in because there were frequent stops from visitors to take a picture with the sign on the other side. 2min drive from the park entrance. We stayed here 2 nights while we visited the park with no issues.
Report Check-Inlarge pull out before Zion East Ranger station. no signs prohibiting parking and quick drive to the park
