If you have children, you need to stop there (and even if you don't). The owner built the swimming pool himself. It was empty when he arrived and he filled it for us. He also invited us to a Posada which took place in the village when we were there. Incredible experience!

Report Check-In

Safe easy place to camp for the night. Price was 50 pesos pp. Friendly owner that we met the next morning. Bathrooms are average and there’s a swimming pool water park set up too. We didn’t have a swim.

a bit spooky when we arrived, do not speak with the owner, other people around, water in the huge refreshing Pool was filled at 4pm, cold shower ok, 50PpP, Restaurant closed, noise Main road at night ok, dog barking, a few mosquitos

Camped here for 2 nights. My kids loved the pool. It has a zipline, slide, and was refilled with fresh water daily. I put my dog in the adjacent creek to cool him down too. The food at the restaurant is good and has fair prices. Dogs barking at night. Cold showers available and flush toilets. Paid $100MXN/night to camp. They also have cabanas but we didn’t ask how much. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed here one night. Nice area and good price with 100p for vehicle. We really wanted a campground, because it was so hot, that we wanted to sleep with open doors. Nice owners! Saw them cleaning the pool the next morning, but the natural creek was more to our liking;)

fantastic little spot! bar, restaurant, pool fed by the spring river. the pool is flushed every night, so water is fresh. there are leaves in the pool, but that's to be expected. showers and toilets also available all day / night.
150 pesos for a bucket of 10 coronitas. there were a family of howling monkeys in the trees right next to the resort. there is water available by the toilets. However, I didn't want to rish crossing the bridge with our transit. They provide WiFi 20 p for 2hrs 40 for 5hrs.
otherwise VERY limited Internet.
owner was very friendly and chilled with us for about 30 mins.
very happy with this place, especially for 100 pesos / car (we were 2 people). there are sockets scattered around, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind plugging in.

We arrived around 17:00. They charge 100 pesos per camping vehicle. Use of bathroom, shower and water is included. Internet reception here is not very good, no WiFi available. There’s one cabin with a toilet and shower for men and one for women. Door doesn’t close, but with a chair in front it works. Reasonably clean, but no toilet seat. Quiet at night. Restaurant is open only until 18:00. You get a 20% discount if you camp there, but it doesn’t change the camping tariff. They also have cabañas that looked nice, but we didn’t inquire about the price.
There’s a creek, which is a bit hard to enter because of steepish sides and plants, but you can if you want. The pools are separate. The big pool was full, but the small ones around were empty when we arrived. The big pool looked less than idyllic with some garbage floating in it and a lot of moss on the pool floor. However, early the next morning they emptied out the whole pool and cleaned the floor, so after this it should be clean again. No idea how often they clean it and if it will be empty then for a day or only the morning.
Overall a good and affordable spot!

Great place, as already described. Merwin, the owner, is very committed and wants to have more overlanders in his place. Parking spaces with electricity are planned. We were there 3 nights and the pool was emptied, cleaned and refilled every day. Not the toilets, but ok ... a great place between Palenque and the Selva Lacandona. Highly recommended!

update 24/07/2023:
We were here for the second time. Los Capulines is still a beautiful place to relax, swim, eat and drink deliciously, with a wonderful host Merwin. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Report Check-In

In low season the restaurant is close, but I could put my tent here. first the wanted 150pesos at the end I could stay here for 75, even so, the pool is empty, the water in the tap is brown (in theory they are fixing it). Close are shops and vegetables.

Stayed there one night. As said previously, very friendly people.
We paid 100 pesos to sleep here. If you wanna go in the pool it’s 25 pesos per person. You can buy wifi for 30 pesos 2 hours or 50 pesos for 5 hours.
You can do your laundry for 100 pesos (pricy..)
Pet friendly and big rig friendly
