We love this spot!! The main parking lot for the beach says „no overnight parking“ but if you take the gravel road on the left to the gravel parking lot right at the lake there are no signs. Stayed here for 2 nights, no one bothered us. Washrooms are open until 9, warm and free outdoor showers. Wifi available close to washrooms. Please be respectful so others can enjoy this spot too.

Place is now permanently closed. Lots of "no overnight parking or camping" signs
Report Check-InPlace is a described. Wonderful spot, just drive down the side road and you will see the gravel parking lot. We saw tons of deer in the parking lot/ park area. Wonderful spot! Only downside is 1 Bar Cell Service and we are using T-Mobile.
Report Check-InBeautiful location. Back door view was Windermere Lake. Seems odd, parking in a dirt lot among a town park and neighborhood. But we weren’t bothered. WiFi at bathhouse, showers and toilets until 9-9:30pm when locked up. Million dollar spot for free!
Report Check-InWe stayed here on a Saturday night and thinking we might stay here for tonight too.
Pulled in about 4pm and have had no one bother us. Beautiful spot in front of the frozen lake!
Only issue was lots of noise from people enjoying their Saturday night, fireworks from one group and then loud music a few hours later from another.
The trains are loud but once you knew that’s what it was it wasn’t an issue!
Lovely spot for the afternoon or to stay the night. However the freight trains pass pretty close and kept me up a lot during the night. otherwise a great spot. Even saw an Eagle when we were leaving the next morning.
