Around 1.5 km from the sign goes a track to a spektakular view and a Top place to stay.
Grandioser Platz mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht und einem kleinen See. Wir hatten auch kaum Moskitos!

200m road in is bumpy but fine. Opens into a clearing for a few campers. Nice view of the mountains.
The "lake" mentioned is a pool of water left over from a gravel pit, it was brown and stagnant when we were here.
Report Check-InGreat spot, couple of spots to park.
We are in a truck camper, had no trouble getting in and out in hard rain.
The little lake comes in handy to wash off the mud.
Fantastic view here and private.
Very nice place! The view is fantastic! It is not as windy as it is on the road. There are some small trees that are good to hide from the wind. The lake is more a pond, but the water looks very clear.
The ground is of course only rocks and dirt but we were able to find a spot where we could build up two tents.
Beautiful spot just past the Arctic Circle. We stayed at the first pullout which has plenty of space but not 100% flat. We decided against the lower gravel spot by the “lake” because it was a mosquito hot-zone so just be prepared!
Report Check-InGreat spot that definitely beats just staying by the Arctic Circle sign. Lovely view and very quiet. Road is a bit rough getting in.
Report Check-InWe turned off just north of the Arctic Circle to the east nice track to a large clearing overlooking the valley & mountains absolutely amazing
Report Check-InHad a look at it, great place but after all the rain the road in was very soft, almost didn’t get out, would be no problem if it was dry. Would recommend walking in first to see what the road was like, only about 200 meters
Report Check-InOur best campsite along Dempster Highway. Nice view across a big valley to the Richardson Mountains. Blocked from the highway by a small hill. Very quiet.
Report Check-InVery nice spot with a beautiful view!
Ok if it’s raining. Not very muddy.
Some Prairie Dogs live there.
This was the best spot near the Arctic Circle that we found. It was pretty windy, but we stayed here 2 nights. There is enough room for several vehicles for sure. The lake previously mentioned is really just a large puddle in the gravel pit, but it was a helpful source of water for getting mud off our truck. You can actually see the Arctic Circle sign from the edge of the hill.
Report Check-InReally nice spot... a few options to choose from... away from the road...
Report Check-InPerfect Boondock spot just after crossing the arctic circle. Nice little lake and stunning view all around the arctic tundra. Be aware of the wildlife surrounding (we saw a grizzli bear)
Report Check-InVery nice place to stay, wonderful view. Caution to bear.
