Overnight parking/sleeping in vehicle is allowed in Pt Reyes unless specified by signs on particular streets/areas. I confirmed this with the police in town, and then slept in this spot directly across from the police station : )
Nothing special, but town is quiet at night and there is access to lots of beautiful nature right nearby. Plus Brickmaiden Bakery in town is quite legit (open Thurs–Sunday, usually), and the bookstore here is quite good too, especially for nature-related material (fiction and nonfic).
Public bathrooms: in town, on Mesa Road. They are marked on Google maps.

This worked really well for me! The campgrounds in the area were flooded out and closed. And I wanted to spend some time checking out Point Reyes. I moved streets every night for a few nights. I would get here late in the evening and leave by 6am. Town was very quiet at night. Point Reyes has washrooms in town, you can find them on google maps.

Street parking outside sheriffs and fire station.
Flat, convenient. Plenty of parking for a van. Even a big rig could fit!
Report Check-InAwesome little town. It sounds like you can park overnight in town, as long as you are respectful and ensure there are no signs prohibiting parking in that location. We parked right across from the police station. The town is well provisioned with public bathrooms, restaurants, and a great market. Everything is close. Would definitely stay again
Report Check-InOn B street between 3rd and 4th street next to Community Clinic. Firehouse is about 1/2 block away. Not much of a view but good for one night Did not see any “no parking signs on the block. Had a nice dinner at Station House Cafe. Sounds like road noise will be minimal. No pics
