Wrong location. The parking is a little bit down further down. Quiet, no noise, clean. Trashcan, outdoor exercises equipment and stader nearby.

Great lot with grassy area around rec centre! Lots of active people enjoying them selves all day and evening

This place is a small parking lot on the East side of the road that serves as parking for the baseball diamond. It is a close, 800m walk to the centre of town with lots of resuaturants and shops. We spend a quiet night here with no problems. Around 8pm cops drove by slowly, but no one stopped by. They were just doing their rounds. This made us feel like the area is regularly patrolled, which is a nice feeling in a city. In the morning there were lots of employees cleaning up the lot and the baseball park because President AMLO was visiting the next day for a baseball game. The employees were friendly and wished us "provecho" while we were eating our breakfast. They told us we could go into the baseball stadium to look around. Nice spot. Safe. We recommend this over parking near the noisy centre of town.

we got there today and didn't see any police nearby. when we went to the central square and asked the police there, they strongly advised against it as they think it's not safe.
we stood for free at the main square right in front of the officers we asked before. some noise but okay

As described. We felt safe, the police noticed we were 2 women travelling alone in an RV, pulling into this stop for the night, and then pulled in behind us, and stayed there the whole night. Must say, every police officer we have encountered have been extremely helpful. Living opposite this lot are older people, who came out to check, but were very friendly.

As described. Felt very safe. Quiet street with some shops. Level Parkinglot. We parked facing the sidewall of the stadium so we could even sit outside unnoticed.

Parked here 3 nights for free. Shady, level lot for around 6 cars (also trucks or trailers) and calm in the night. Its overflowed by light in the night and the policeman mentioned it is a very safe place to park for free. Max. 500 meters to the central plaza.
