Great location, exactly as others described. Fee $11.63. Dumpster, and a shed with toilet. Plenty of folks fishing on the water. Here on a Wed night and 2 other overnighters are here, and a handful of people fishing or on the water. T-Mobile 2-3 bars, lots and lots of flies but they mean no harm.
Report Check-InThis is a small camping ground. I was the only one some days and a couple others another night showed up. It’s gorgeous, right by the lake, secluded so no noise. There are fire rings and a toilet. Not sure if there is a fee, but no one around the check. Great stay and safe!
Report Check-InNice area for an overnight stop. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and 4 sites were occupied plus there were a few folks fishing. There is construction going on about 12 mile up river with trucks going in and out during the day, but it was quiet at night.
We are in a 35' Class A and towing a car and space 2 was the perfect size for us!
Report Check-InJust as described, awesome free spot, right on the water. Lots of boats launching. Lots of birds and deer to be seen. I drove a little ways down the beach. Solid ground if you stay on the tracks.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot to camp for a night. Peaceful. Just one other person here on a Sunday night. The is not a free site, though. There is a sign posted to pay the box. $11.67. Good Verizon and T-Mobile.
Report Check-InNice camp spot right by the lake. Not busy at all. They now charge 11.67$ per night with payment in an envelope.
Report Check-InNo longer free but not expensive. $11.67/night. Nine marked sites, each with picnic table and fire pit.
Report Check-Ingreat spot right on the Missouri River! it's a boat launch and a campground. Flat, level, gravel!
Report Check-Infree
reasonably clean pit toilet
large gravel lot surrounded by a few picnic tables and fire pits
well maintained dirt road entry
we had the place to ourselves on a Thursday in late March
stay here!
Early spring ice still covering most of the river when we arrived. Stayed 2 days. Parks dept was mowing and getting place ready but didn’t put toilet paper in pit toilet. Tables by fire ring. We were staying alone but there was quite a bit of people coming to look at the water or hang out by the dock. One car stayed late into the night but was gone by morning. Good place to camp. Coyotes singing owls hooting and geese squeaking all night. Was a lovely way to go to sleep. And free to boot!
Report Check-InVery nice, right on the water. But this location is very busy, especially it being a Saturday night. Don’t come here if you want to be alone, as I was approached multiple times by other campers.
Report Check-InQuiet, peaceful, serene, lovely place right on the Missouri River. would stay here again if I'm everin this area. so close to Al's Oasis we plan to have lunch there.
Report Check-InAmazing space, a bit busy but overall cozy, clean, and great cell service access. Pro tip, come out on the full moon. 🌝 #suziesubaru
Report Check-Ingreat spot near the river, can't believe this is a free place to camp
Report Check-InWOW! unbelievable that a spot like this is free. please treat it well.
Report Check-Inpit restroom(BYOTP) nice spots, nice waterfront and boat launch. great Verizon coverage. love it
Report Check-InIncredible spot. Road in was easy. posted up along River & now moved over into a legit space as I wasnt sure about parking. About 7 other groups and still feels peaceful. Can hear the lapping water on the beach from my van. Excellent T-mobile coverage - FULL bars - and I’m hotspotting. River swim ✅. Stay here!
Report Check-InAmazing place to spend the night, or even a couple days. There were about a dozen other vans here, but there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space.
Report Check-InNice lakeside/riverside boat landing and beach area with free camping. Very pretty spot and plenty of space. probably 15 or so groups here on 6/20/20.
Only a handful of picnic tables available (no roof) and one pit toilet, so be prepared to camp without many amenities. We pitched a tent and grilled on the beach.
easy to get to. amazing views. nice beach. places to have fires. will definitely use again.
Report Check-InWe slept there one night. A beautiful quiet place and near the river. It is possible to sleep on the beach (see my picture) but I recommend a 4x4. There was a lot of bugs. I did not bathe the water seemed not very clean.
Report Check-InBeautiful and quiet place for the night. One other camper was there with us but was parked on the other side of the lot. Short drive right off the interstate. Pit toilet was clean and stocked with toilet paper. Gas station and places to eat not far from us either. Would highly recommend and it’s Free!
Report Check-Inperfect place for an overnighter. only wish we could have stayed longer. arrived in the dark, rained all night, woke up to a beautiful morning. toilets were clean. areas was clean. road was a little buddy coming out but still no problem even pulling a boat.
Report Check-InBoat launch along the Missouri river with 4 picnic tables and a pit toilet. Very buggy this time of year!
Report Check-InArrived early am to a nearly full moon on a beautiful stretch of river, perfectly quiet and peaceful.
Report Check-InReally nice spot. Arrived after dark, pretty easy to spot. We even had a little morning cleaning in the river. The view is beautiful. Highly recommend it.
Report Check-InC'était juste parfait, calme et beau. Attention le sol est un peu mou près de l'eau.
Report Check-In6/22/2019, this place is amazing. We could here two owls talking to each other. Coyotes, cows, birds and insects were very chatty. There were two other rigs beside us. Everyone respected each other’s quiet time. Highly recommended. Ground in hard.
Report Check-InBeautiful place, so peaceful and quiet. You have a great view of the lake surrounded by green hills. It is definitely worth the 3km gravel road!
Report Check-InHighly recommend four or all wheel drive if you are pulling trailer as the gravel roads are very soft when raining. We didn’t even attempt going in with two wheel drive.
Report Check-InTook these Sat morning outside my door, a beautiful view to look at all day long !
Report Check-InNo one HERE ! Except for some cattle and some barking "kids", which I can't complain about, since mine do too ! Hopefully I'm not going to be in anyone way if they come by, will be here for THREE nights; the road in is a bit of a washboard, so I kept to about 10mpr after going under the underpass, which was just barely over 14' clearance. This is my 2nd time boondocking, the first in AZ S of Quartzite in April, but now I'm home ( legally I belong to SD! But I'm really from VA. 😜 hee hee hee). Will post pics when I recharge iPad.
Report Check-InAs described: at the lake, pit toilets, att coverage, picnic tables. Stayed one night and there were other 3 campers at the site.
Report Check-InGreat place beautiful view on the hills and the lake!
We shared the place with a few other trailer, van and tents.
Some boat came out of the lake.
Awesome spot to park

Also, a nice stone beach to walk down and rolling green pastures adjacent to it.
Report Check-InNice quiet place. Must be nice in summer for a quick swim, in november it was freezing cold. Firewood provided.
