Beautiful spot to camp for a night. Peaceful. Just one other person here on a Sunday night. The is not a free site, though. There is a sign posted to pay the box. $11.67. Good Verizon and T-Mobile.

Very nice, right on the water. But this location is very busy, especially it being a Saturday night. Don’t come here if you want to be alone, as I was approached multiple times by other campers.

Quiet, peaceful, serene, lovely place right on the Missouri River. would stay here again if I'm everin this area. so close to Al's Oasis we plan to have lunch there.

Incredible spot. Road in was easy. posted up along River & now moved over into a legit space as I wasnt sure about parking. About 7 other groups and still feels peaceful. Can hear the lapping water on the beach from my van. Excellent T-mobile coverage - FULL bars - and I’m hotspotting. River swim ✅. Stay here!

Amazing place to spend the night, or even a couple days. There were about a dozen other vans here, but there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space.

Nice lakeside/riverside boat landing and beach area with free camping. Very pretty spot and plenty of space. probably 15 or so groups here on 6/20/20.
Only a handful of picnic tables available (no roof) and one pit toilet, so be prepared to camp without many amenities. We pitched a tent and grilled on the beach.

We slept there one night. A beautiful quiet place and near the river. It is possible to sleep on the beach (see my picture) but I recommend a 4x4. There was a lot of bugs. I did not bathe the water seemed not very clean.

Beautiful and quiet place for the night. One other camper was there with us but was parked on the other side of the lot. Short drive right off the interstate. Pit toilet was clean and stocked with toilet paper. Gas station and places to eat not far from us either. Would highly recommend and it’s Free!

perfect place for an overnighter. only wish we could have stayed longer. arrived in the dark, rained all night,woke up to a beautiful morning. toilets were clean. areas was clean. road was a little buddy coming out but still no problem even pulling a boat.

Really nice spot. Arrived after dark, pretty easy to spot. We even had a little morning cleaning in the river. The view is beautiful. Highly recommend it.

6/22/2019, this place is amazing. We could here two owls talking to each other. Coyotes, cows, birds and insects were very chatty. There were two other rigs beside us. Everyone respected each other’s quiet time. Highly recommended. Ground in hard.

Beautiful place, so peaceful and quiet. You have a great view of the lake surrounded by green hills. It is definitely worth the 3km gravel road!

Highly recommend four or all wheel drive if you are pulling trailer as the gravel roads are very soft when raining. We didn’t even attempt going in with two wheel drive.

No one HERE ! Except for some cattle and some barking "kids", which I can't complain about, since mine do too ! Hopefully I'm not going to be in anyone way if they come by, will be here for THREE nights; the road in is a bit of a washboard, so I kept to about 10mpr after going under the underpass, which was just barely over 14' clearance. This is my 2nd time boondocking, the first in AZ S of Quartzite in April, but now I'm home ( legally I belong to SD! But I'm really from VA. 😜 hee hee hee). Will post pics when I recharge iPad.

Awesome spot to park

Boat launch, toilets, picnic tables and fire rings.

Also, a nice stone beach to walk down and rolling green pastures adjacent to it.

Nice quiet place. Must be nice in summer for a quick swim, in november it was freezing cold. Firewood provided.
