This is a tent only campground within the national park. Google said it was free. There is a community picnic area and restrooms. The sign coming in said "tents only, no RVs". There was one other vehicle when I got here at 9pm.

Loved this site. A great find and welcome relief from the Alaska gravel pit campsites. All sites are completely private but still a short walk from car. Since yo are only taking tent and sleeping bags to site it is super easy. A few sites have view of glacial moraine and river. All sites have the nice sound of the river. The common area is nice, well maintained. Put toilets were fine. Site is only 1/2 Mike fro Exit glacier visitor center and trail heads. Whole thing is free.
Report Check-InNo dogs allowed in camp area sign says dog must stay in vehicle or parking lot
Report Check-InNice, free campground, tents only. Well-described rules about how to be near aware. There is a good storage and kitchen here. Great place to meet people from all around the world. Each campsite is quite and has some private space. We stayed here for two nights. Highly recommend!
