Buenisimo lugar y super tranquilo... ideal para descansar después de retirar el vehículo de Colón

Great place to stop if you are in a camper or motor home. Has everything I’ll stop by again

Free. Good WiFi inside, cafeteria, laundry for .75cents each load, toilets, and showers. All was very clean but not the showers. They were pretty disgusting. Terpels tend to be a good option but I hope you have better luck with the showers if you choose to stay here.

Nice modern petrol station to spend the night. free showers and bathrooms, laundry for 1$ a load and 1$ to dry it. You now have to park in front cause the back is reserved for truckers. bring your earplugs ;)

Report Check-In

Good facilities. Warm showers, clean bathrooms, laundry, restaurant, water and wifi.
A little noisy like all gas stations.
Safe.

Great rest area. Heavily used by truck drivers. Noisy at night at the back.
We were coming from Panama and u-turn at the toll both 2 km after the station. To continue to Colon, an employee told us that 2 km aprox. in Panama direction you can u-turn at the yellow poles. The poles will bend. We saw a car do it ahead of us and so do us. Mind the traffic. It was Sunday so no heavy traffic.
Free fast WiFi, showers and very clean and new bathrooms.

Otimo lugar para estar, vendemos um pouco de artesanato, ducha e banheiro grátis, lavar roupa e secar por apenas $1,50, internet funciona bem. A noite tem bastante movimento, mas é seguro e dá para dormir bem. Recomendamos.

We came from Panama side so had to pay the toll $3.15 to exit and another $3.15 to enter the highway because this place is in the left side meaning access from Colon side of Highway.

Place is nice to take shower, eat and may be spend a night if desperate;-)

Cons:
Wifi was bad coz the connection keeps cutting(3mins internet and then it’s gone for 20mins).

Trucks were with their engine on the whole night = lots of noise.

We had to go all the way back to the starting of highway towards Panama to be able to come back to Colon, noway to do the U-turn in between.

Good for those driving from Colon to Panama!!!

Good spot before Colon. Coming from Colon, no problem to get there.
If you are coming from Panama City: Drive 2km past the station. Just before the toll booth, we were able to make a U-Turn. Not sure if that is legal, but nobody seemed to care.
When you continue to Colon the next morning, you need to drive 14km south again before you can take the exit and turn around. Take that into consideration when planning your drive (28km detour). Googlemaps shows you a different, shorter way, but we did not see an earlier Highway exit...

Still worth the detour for free showers, WiFi and clean bathrooms...

We spent two nights here before shipping in Puerto Manzanillo.
Really quiet during weekends (no trucks on sunday).
Free shower, meal from 2.50$ (not that bad), cheap beer (0.65$).
Laundry (0.75 per coin).

It's just a bit difficult to get here coming from Panama to Colon but we made it.

It's not 7.50 usd but 75 cents for washing/drying each!

Report Check-In

Indeed a super good place for a night. In the corners of the parking lot behind the building are flat grassy areas, perfect for building 2-3 tents. There is light over those places all night long. Everything is very clean, wifi works well, food is good and indeed affordable. A bit of a noise from trucks in the evening and in the morning, but was calm at night.

Those were the best public bathrooms and showers I've ever been to, including Aus and the US. I can't believe they're free, this has just established thoroughly unreasonable expectations for the rest of Central America.

Thaïs place is on the higway, you can use only of you comme from Colon, of you come from Panama you must do 14 km go out higway and come back' the day after you must take the Wayne to Panama
