Slept in the dirt parking lot across from the welcome center. Worked out great! Some noise from highway but not bad.

Report Check-In

I stayed directly across the street in the small gravel lot. There’s signs in the very back of the community center that say no overnight RV parking. And even though I’m in a car, I didn’t risk it. There are no signs in the gravel parking lot that say you can’t stay overnight. I stayed two nights with no issue. Very quiet. Had the windows down in the car for the cool air to come in. plenty of cell phone service on both T-Mobile and AT&T. sorry I forgot to take pictures

Report Check-In

No overnight parking signs were up when we got here, so we didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Great spot to sleep, a tid bit noisy but it was a Friday night and I was by fast food and a Mexican restaurant so a little revelry was expected! The community center does not have showers which was a bummer. 3-4 Verizon bars

A decent thrift store a few blocks away for those of you interested! I needed new pots and pans so was able to trash mine and got a le crueset for only $20! “Elkton area united services”

Report Check-In

We stayed here overnight and had a very quiet night sleep, even saw the sunrise over the mountains from the car park. There was lots of space and was all flat ground. It's 7-10 minute drive from Skyline Drive. The lot was empty when we arrived but a few other campers joined later in the night. The Mexican restaurant next door was delicious!

Report Check-In

As described. Train whill whistle even at 11 pm and road noise can be heard but all bearable. Not much light in the parking but felt secure. Leveled. Good cell reception.
Around 35min drive from the Shenandoah visitor center.

You should turn right at the light at the gas station when coming in as Google got us going into the Mexican restaurant parking lot but both are not communicating.
