Wonderful spot for a night. Very quiet. As stated, road easily accessible. Didn't see many people or cows At this time. Nice fire pits and level areas. Scenic with hills & trees. someone left a cool homemade toilet from logs w/toilet seat on it!
Report Check-Ingreat quiet spot amongst cows. small rock dirt road but nothing a small car couldn't handle. beautiful sunset
Report Check-Innice camping sites. follow road up aways for numerous sites. when we pulled in we found out it was deer and elk season. we stayed close to the hunting camps🙂
Report Check-InA few good spots on the lower prairie but the better spots are up on top. There are now fire rings designating camp areas. Summer time is noisy with atv activities. Not much for trails for anything over 50” wide. Still fun and you might get lucky and see some elk.
Report Check-InGood for a night. Super buggy and road starts getting pretty bad towards the end.
Weather started getting dicey and was concerned road into lower spots might wash out further.
Moved up to area near pit toilet just to be safe.
One solitary fisherman was the only person I saw during my one night stay
Report Check-InGreat spot. We stayed in the 2nd spot (by toilets) Came across 2 rattlesnakes while hiking. Free range beef walking around, came right up to us. Not sure if I’d camp in a tent... lol
Bern told by locals it gets very busy on weekends as it is a great spot for trails and 4x4. Gorgeous scenery. Free.
