Tierra del Fuego, wild camp just south of the ferry

We checked it out but didn’t stay, we preferred to drive a little further. Good enough if it’s late and there’s no energy left for driving further :)
Report Check-InWe scoped this place out but opted not to stay here because we wanted more wind protection. The small berm offering protection is on the opposite side of the road from the parking area. The camp in Cerro sombrero has more wind protection but much less privacy. Fine for large hard sided vehicles that don't need much wind coverage.
Report Check-InPull off the highway into a gravel road. Up the road a short distance, park in a little turnout along the road, where a berm on either side of the road gives a little wind protection. Good place to sleep while waiting for the ferry.
