On the dirt road up to Elkhorn (ghost town), after a bridge on the left there is a Trailhead with space on the left and right to park 1 vehicle each. There is a fire ring on the right hand spot and we fit in with a little space to spare with our 24’ RV. There is a stream right next to the spots.

Super place to camp. about 6 miles of the paved road, but it is in good shape and you are close to Elkhorn, the ghost mining town with is worth a visit! campspot is right next to dirtroad and river, but secluded by trees and hardly any traffic. stone fire ring. the twentyone trail that starts at the camp spot is a beautiful hike. no service at all.
