An unfriendly lady asked for 200 MXN per person and 200 MXN for the camper per night. Also it's difficult to drive down to the waterfront with a large rig. You might get some scratches from low hanging branches. For us it wasn't worth it so we left.

Now charging $200mxp ppn to camp, with or without an RV. We originally were told $150mxp ppn but when we went to pay it was more and the new price was posted on a board. There is also no waterfront parking for RVs or Vans, it’s all allocated for day use or tent camping. However we were told we could drive down and park at the back, but there was definitely miscommunication between the staff, because after we drove down the steep hill we were asked to drive back up and park in the carpark. After some protest they let us park in the back between two trees away from the water.

The hill down is at the property and not bad, we managed fine with our 27ft expedition truck, but if u have very low clearance you might not want to drive down.

The road to the campsite is 2.5km dirt road with bumps and potholes, but at least no low hanging branches!

This place is fantastic. Cabanas, camping , restaurant , breakfast, breeze, turquoise water. About 10 km from Bacalar but no road noise.

Beautiful quiet place with basic bathrooms. Steep road to reach the campground. Good restaurant even it looks like a bit special 😁

We camped right on the lake with our car and tent. They charged us 150 pp. Mx peso.
So 300 for two people and a car.
Seems expensive but there aren’t many places to camp that allows dogs. There were a couple of other people and several people working there on the cabanas and water systems. We checked all along the Lagoon and this was the only place we found where we could camp with our car , tent and dog.

Very nice and quiet place direct at the lake, the people around here are very friendly. We payed 250 pesos with a RV per night.
The road for the RV‘s right on the place is very steep, Small challenge for big RV‘s but possible.
No Water and electric at the RV-Site
We recommend this place.
You can book an all inclusive Tequila and beer tour for 400pesos in Bacalar, ask the owners :)

Camping in your car is not allowed anymore, or even parking down at the shore. Only camping in tents is possible and parking the car further up.

Nice vibe, lots off ppl when I arrived. price went up to 100pesos to camp. Said it was because of "new administration & the grass was now greener".

a lady voulenteering here said it was one of the few places that didn't pump there sewage into the lake & they were working to get everyone on the lake to-do the same one day.

Beautiful spot. clean sweetwater lagune. parking in gras directly on the water. we payed 100 pesos per night (2 people, 1 car), because we didn't need a cabaña. normal price 75 per person. clean toilette. no wifi yet. very friendly staff. Stayed 4 nights

Great spot. Right on the lake. As you can read in the former comments. Good place for quiete days. We checked the places in Bacalad first and did not like any. Bring enough food and water with you for a few quiet days on the water. Good for swimming. Fire places. Otherwise it's basic. Friendly owner. We paid 100P for two persons and the rig.

Beautiful and very quiet spot right on the bank of the clear Laguna de Bacalar. Lovely campground, grassy and shaded underneath palmtrees. Alas the baños are scruffy.
