Super shaded park. Horseshoe pit, playground, pavilion, multiple bathhouses. campsites are very spread out. Really quiet. However!!! Be careful pulling in after it has stormed/rained. Because of it being all grass, and lower than the road, the water drains down to the grass from the road as well. I'm in just a little Chevy trax, and almost got stuck multiple times. Ended up having to park basically on the road so I'd have some traction to get out in the morning! Other than that, really nice quiet area.
Report Check-InWell maintained city park with electricity and water hookups throughout. Hook up if you need to, and pay $15, or don’t, and pay $3.50. Trash bins throughout, and a dump station, too! Has two small restroom buildings with showers. The water was warm, but not hot, on a cool mid-October day. Bathrooms close for the winter 10/31, but camping is year round. The town police roll through regularly, and there’s no drinking allowed, so it’s pretty low key, and felt safe. Verizon signal was weak, but usable. I stayed 4 days and would definitely stay here again.
