Description

Easy 2wd dirt road that goes out of the highway and has plenty of nice spots for the night. Some turns are a bit sharp, might be a problem for big RVs. Surrounded by cacti. Nice sunset.

Great spot ! Lots of little nooks to park in.

Sprinter Van. LOVED this spot! Gorgeous desert cacti all around. Close to the highway but was so quiet at night.

I was thrown off by all the trash at the beginning but as others have said, keep driving back and you’ll find the magic. The desert was so still during the day, but comes alive at night. Quite a few animal holes around. I walked my dog along the tire tracks and he had no issues with his paws.

Big cell tower nearby, I didn’t notice it during the day but saw the red lights at night, excellent cell service. Strong Verizon and Telcel.

This was a great stop - easy access off 1 as stated in description. Followed the navigator on iOverlander app and it was perfect. Don’t stop at the first few areas on the dirt road, due to lots of trash, go farther down the dirt road and there are multiple great spots. The whole area seem to have a few stickers, but totally fine. Heard a few trucks going by on highway but otherwise not a peep of anything else. Also had great cell phone service! Haha Would definitely stay again!

Right off 1. Quiet for the most part although you can hear the trucks going by at night. Terrible for dogs as already stated. I took at least 6 of those sticker bushes out of my dog's paws and we didn't even walk around much.

As described - loved it! one of the most beautiful desert spots I've stayed at. Terrible for the dog though. I even put on thick shoes to walk around. Full bars LTE.

confirmed. epic, secluded, gorgeous spots amongst the cacti. be careful walking around tho... lots of spikey things on the ground.

Awesome camping spot surrounded by a forest of super tall cacti. You follow a narrow set of tyre tracks on a slalom of zigzags to make your way through the cacti to get to this spot. You can hear the road but it’s not intrusive and you could be seen from the road if you have bright lights at night, but it’s pretty well hidden in the day. Fabulous for sunset silhouette photos

What a beautiful place! Great for cyclists, no loose sand. Easy to get there. Filled up some bottles of water and washed myself surrounded by cactuses.
