We are situated at one of Srinagar's most sophisticated, quite suburbs only two kms from the Tourist Reception Center and a one minute walk from the world renounced Dal Lake. Our lush front garden with its chirping birds, green lawn and pretty flowers is the perfect place for quiet relaxation after a busy tourist day. Im Hotel Swiss wurden wir nach langer staubiger Fahrt wie Freunde empfangen. A home far away from home....das ist die beste Beschreibung. Manager Rouf und sein Personal kümmern sich persönlich um jeden Gast. WiFi, Garten, ein guter Tee....sogar unser Hund war willkommen. Das Swisshotel können wir allen Overlandern uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We stayed here for four days and we are super happy that we found this place off the very loud and disturbing main road.
The Garden is just GREAT! quiet and super inviting to hang around.
The Rooms are very nice and wooden and there is a western Toilet in the clean bathroom with hot showers!
Staff is super friendly and price for a room is reasonable for this area.
there is also a nice foyer and fast Internet (50Mbit) which i used for remote working in my job.
Parking was for free and you can even sleep in your car if you want, the Staff loves Overlanders!
Report Check-InHotel Swiss is a pretty hotel in a quiet area of Srinagar. The Dal lake where some of the beautiful houseboats are located, is within 2 minutes walking distance, the old town and various sights can be reached comfortably and conveniently with the Tuk-Tuk.
The hotel is a family business and is run by Rouf and his father, two very well English speaking men who have their heart at the right place. They help overlanders wherever they can with tips and advice in all sorts of matters.
The Hotel Swiss has very comfortable, clean rooms, a garden and a yard where vehicles can park safely (guarded/locked). Even our big truck (9.00m long, 2.50m wide and 3.80m high) had space enough; only in the access road the cables were a bit too deep, but with the help of Rouf and his staff, they were lifted and passing was no problem.
The Hotel Swiss offers a good free WiFi, water, toilets/showers etc.
We can warmly recommend this place to all overlanders.

Report Check-InVery good and safe place for Overlanders. You van park Tour truck in front of the hotel, sscured by a gate. Close to the Dal lake. Very friendly and helpful staff under management of Rouf.They helped us when we had a broken spring with good advises for workshops.
