Description

Really great park with nice trails. BBQ grills and picnic tables throughout. A covered pavilion and bathrooms are also on site. This is really just a parking lot with some very popular hiking trails during the day. Not big rig friendly. I wouldn’t even put up a tent here. Just a place to pull over and sleep in your car. I have a teardrop trailer and had no problems moving around the parking lot. There are no signs that say you can’t park here overnight. There are also no signs that post the hours of the park, that I could see. However, online it says the park closes at 9pm. I stayed here 2 nights though, without any problems. There are gates to the park, but they were never closed. I saw cops patrol here throughout the day. There’s water fountains throughout the park, but they’re still covered from Covid, so you can’t use them. Also, same with the sinks in the bathroom. I was getting 2 bars 5G with Verizon and 2 bars LTE with T-Mobile. Just enough to casually browse the internet. Overall, it’s quiet and tucked away with places to cook. I’d definitely stay here again

I just got woken up by a cop at 1:30am who said I can't sleep at this park. I've been here before with no issues. It's up to you if you want to take the risk or not.

This park was lovely and the trails were great! We hiked 5 miles on a level 4 trail and had a lot of fun doing it. Our chihuahuas enjoyed the hike as well! There were plenty of picnic tables and grills to use plus a small playground with a kids rock climbing wall. The bathrooms were closed when I was there, but they had portapotties. The water fountains were not covered though, so I used that water. Be careful though because there are bees taking advantage if the water in the water fountains. No one bothered us at night. It started getting busy around 7am.
