Great hotel! Save yourselves some time in this town and just call Jaime (number in below review) and he’ll meet you at the entrance. Secure parking (got the vibe we needed it in this town), no gate height restriction, super hot showers, very clean, warm blankets for the extra cold nights. A welcome respite after wild camping. We paid 80b pp.

Great place, confortable and really clean rooms. We had a matrimonial bed for 90 BOB per person and 15 BOB for wifi. The owner was really helpful and let us use the kitchen. The quinoa museum right beside was really interesting, as well as the necropolis museum a little further the city down south. Would really recommend this place!

Great place to stay. Almost all accommodations don’t have signs of business in San Juan so you have to look for the almacen signage. Jaime has a hose located outside their property where we hosed down our bikes after a wet ride in the Salar. We’re so glad the other places we went to do not have vacancy. This is a great place.

Fantastic find! We bumped into Jaime on the main square and he took us to his new beautifully constructed hostal using all local materials such as salt blocks & coral rock. Super comfortable beds & great hot showers and all around very clean. Plenty of space to park cars & rigs and guests can use the kitchen at no extra charge. We were served a tasty traditional meal for dinner. The family also runs a well stocked tienda adjacent to the hostal (including local wines and Bolivia's best chocolate, Para Ti) A night costs only B/s 100 per person which is a bargain considering the remoteness and level of facilities & comfort, not to mention the great hospitality from our hosts.
