Visiting Julio and Brenda should be a must for every single overlanders. They are very nice, friendly, curious and knowledgeable. We spent a peaceful night having great chat next day in the morning. They are providing nice parking lot, clean bathroom, water, fast wifi, strong, nice espresso and great company for free! To say thank you you can buy nice cigars from their beautiful store but this is not required. Brenda, Julio, we are happy to get to know you and we appreciate a lot your hospitality! Pls, stay in touch!

Overlander travelerers are still welcomed here to park and sleep securely, with bathrooms, water, wifi, and if you like, conversation. We have 24 hour security. If you are traveling through Nicaragua , you can rest here and get an early start for the Costa Rican border and not worry about finding a place to sleep for the night. If you are traveling North, it works the same. You can rest here, and be through the border at Honduras before nightfall. If you are have questions, call 8934-7025. If you are an Overlander and are seeking a safe place to overnight, we welcome you. You can cross the border at Honduras early morning and spend the night with us in our secure lot with 24 security, bathroom facility, water, & WiFi. If you hit the road early the next day, you can arrive at Costa Rican border before nightfall.
No purchase is necessary, but we appreciate your business. YOUR STAY IS FREE! The sign now says Cigar Store.

The stay was perfect despite of getting here when Nicaragua wasn´t in its best moment. Julio and Brenda, the owners are very nice people. Willing to help from the very first moment. The place is secure and very clean. There is wifi, water....We spent a good evening chatting with them. They let you stay for free but it is always nice to buy a cigar if possible.

We spent 2 nights here and had an excellent time with Brenda and Julio, the owners of the place. They enjoy having travellers on there parking lot, listening to their stories. On the other hand they have a lot of interesting stories to tell. We had the best espresso ever in 4 year travelling through south- and centralamerica!! There is a clean bathroom 24 hours open, fast WiFi, water and soon there will be a shower... and everything for free. They have a nice Cigar Store where you can learn all about "Puros". You feel like a little bit at home! Thanks you very much for letting us paticipating on your life. And maybe we will meet you again in the future!

We purchased cigars for gift($24 & $12);) could not stay over night...looks like it’s not possible for a month and half. Enjoyed chilled free cola and WiFi. We stayed in the parking for few hours to eat lunch and moved on.

Un couple très accueillant et charmant !
Explications, conseils, belles boîtes en bois fabriqué sur place.. une très joli petite boutique !
on nous a offert le café, dégustation de cigare, wifi, toilettes et tant encore..
Le tout avec le sourire .. le coeur sur la main !
On recommande vivement !

Bought some cigars for gifts. Walked around back to take photos and met the owners. Nice folks. Really want Overlanders to camp. Will fill water tanks, free coffee/water/soda, clean bathrooms. Great stop.

Lovely couple, ready to share lots of info I the Nicaraguan cigar business. Happy to host the occasional overlander, although we were en route to Tisey. loved the individual cigar boxes (if there's a smoker in your life!) details as below.. Wi-Fi, baños etc

Here they sell cigars, and produce the wood boxes in which they sell them.
The owners are a US-cuban people and are so nice. They took us to visit the factory where their cigars are produced, at the north of Esteli, and then allowed us to stay there for the night.
Charming experience.

Stopped here on a Saturday as the cigar factories are closed to tours on weekends. Given a warm welcome, history of production of cigars in Nica (mostly due to Cubans moving in the 70s!) and free coffee and wifi. Stop in and say hello!

Nice little cigar shop. The owners speak spanish and English. They offer free wifi and like to chat with other people.
