Gravel parking lot for 5,000 cop and access to flush toilets. Close to the red rock formations. Hot, hot, hot!

15000COP for 2 people. The showers were not available when we were there but the toilets were. The family is lovely who run the place, there is a tiny shop in the visitors centre (mostly snack food). A tour group from town arrived at 6:30 for a star gaze but left before 9pm.

Simple campground near the desert. Bathrooms and cold showers for 15k for two people for one night. They have about 5 telescopes they setup here at night that you can look through for an extra 10k. Very quiet. Tent campers, there are a half dozen other camp areas down the road with better facilities and spots for tent campers. Several have pools as well.

Directly attached to the astronomical observatory there is an official campground. It costs 5,000 COP / pers. and includes the pay toilets (500 COP) and showers (2000 COP). We just pulled out from the parking lot on the road on the left hand (framed by white stones) and stayed for the night on a small plateau with a beautiful view at night, surrounded by large cacti. Unfortunately, there is a loud generator running the whole night at the Observatory.
