Local residents are reporting vans that park overnight or more as squatters and security/police have come knocking on doors questioning. Would not advise staying in this higher-end area as locals are becoming hostile.
Report Check-InSlept here for 2 nights, lots of fast traffic from 06:00 even though this is a 1 block street. They are picking up trash on Wed + Thu morning at 7:00. During the day we moved to Hugh Taylor Birch Park. 6$ per day. One parking is walking distance to the Dog beach. The other is close to the canal
Report Check-InWe parked a couple of blocks away in sub as spaces noted were taken. Need to get here before people get home from work. Nice quiet neighborhood. No issues.
Report Check-InThere are 8 free 24-hour parking spots along this street. Arrived 10am, park, then walk to Las Olas Blvd, jump on bus 11 for $2, to go to Las Olas beach. Saves paying the ridiculous parking rates of Fort Lauderdale's beach scene.
Returned 8pm. I didn't plan on staying the night, but it is so peaceful along this street that I could not resist. Pleasant zzzzz's.
More free 24-hour parking spots along E Broward blvd, between NE 15-16 Avenues.
