Description

Pulled into this place with our fingers crossed for a campsite! The workers/family were kind... offered us great parking for 5 nights. Showers, flushing toilets, restaurant onsite that is open for dinner. Parking was level. No problem for our 22' long and 10' high sprinter. Room for 2 or maybe 3 vans. Wifi ALMOST reached the van, but you would likely need to go to the sitting area We were not charged any money, but we ate at the restaurant multiple times and we paid for staff to do our laundry.... and we tipped the staff as we left. The FUN FUN FUN part of this place is the monkeys that come to visit! Maybe 30 squirrel monkeys come to the trees right by the sitting area! Several waterfall hikes within walking distance!

Stayed here before crossing the Trampolina. What a spot! Super hospitable family and large parking with huge communal areas. It’s much bigger and nicer than the photos make it look.

Absolutely no pressure to buy anything, but we had a few juices and beers since we already ate. Clean bathrooms with a nice cold shower. Right by the river. This town would be fun to explore if you have the time, and this spot is an amazing base. All around super comfy.

Great spot with amazingly kind people working at the restaurant. Same for us, eat food, stay in your car for free. We actually had super fast wifi in the van from the restaurant. Animals all around, especially adorable tree frogs. Food is great! International kitchen, even ramen. Dogs too cute for words!

We spent one night one the "parking" for free. But in exchange we had a good dinner in the restaurant. The owners are very nice. If you're lucky, you could have some chance to see some monkeys and sloths.

Super nice place with very friendly people! Still free as long as you eat there. Platos from 20k to 45k. The lomo with queso azul was good but a very small portion, don't take it if you're super hungry. Burgers are nice, veggie wrap was good too (and big). Showers cold but free. Muy tranquilo, muy amable.

We stood here for 2 days because of the rain before we ride the Trampoline. No cell service but wifi works well. Very clean showers and toilets. You can hear the street but it's ok. Super nice hosts. Food is great. Dinner from 5:30 p.m. Entry 3.40m height no problem.

We were advised to come here by Manuel, owner of the Gramcelot campsite in San Agustin and it was worthy. Great place owned by a hospitable family, where you can park for 1-2 nights like we did and do the Fin del Mundo trek, as the parc entry is right next. Juan Pablo will not ask you for a free, you just need to consume something at the restaurant and the burgers are delicious! Wi-fi, WC, fresh shower and coffee included. Gracias familia!

Great place. Friendly people. Great food. We used the restaurant for dinner (~20000-30000pp) and breakfast (10000pp) and didn't need to pay for the night in van and one tent. Directly next to entrance of fin del mundo.

Very friendly family who let you stay for free in front of the hostel and you can use the toilets (cold) shower and open WiFi. Ate a very nice breakfast here before we left. Free coffee and water all day. Recommend

Passamos uma noite aqui. Não nos cobraram nada e deixaram usar o banheiro as duchas e também o Wi-Fi. O espaço é muito lindo, e aqui por perto tem alguns passeios de cachoeira.

Very nice place to camp! Well taken care of.

We ate dinner at the restaurant and didn’t pay anything else for the camping. Bathrooms are basic with cold shower. The rooms had hot showers though and weren’t too expensive either.

Close to the highway but quiet at night. Tons of birds, didn’t see any monkeys.

We decided to take one of the cabins as the parking is very close to the noisy road. The rooms are very nice and clean plus you can bargain a good rate. Food is fantastic! Really recommend to eat the steak here! Clean facilities and you get discount for the waterfall.

Still a great free place to camp. No size restrictions for entrance but don’t park next to restaurant if you rig is higher than about 3.3 meters or you tear down the power line. It’s right next to the highway so it’s noisy until about 10 then again at 6 am. We slept ok. You park right next to a roadside restaurant so there’s lights and people talking until around 10. The food has some international dishes and is quite good. No loud music when we were there, and it was the weekend. Ask for the roadside wifi and it will work in your vehicle. They have toilet seats and plenty of toilet paper. Cold showers but it feels good here with the heat. Walk down the road to the bridge to end of the world waterfall. Start early the hike. Enjoy.
