Excellent budget hotel in Mexico City very near to all the main attractions. 390 pesos for a double room. Very close to metro. Fast wifi. Very big and spacious parking lot especially for high vehicles (up to 3.5 meters high). Very friendly & helpful staff.

The hotel is now named Capital O Frida, it has been entirely refurbished and modernized.
For 35 US$ a night, the room was spotless clean, with all required amenities. It does not have air conditioning but a fan.
Yes, it is along a huge avenue so it can be noisy. Or room was facing the patio so it has not been a huge issue for us. Transit gets quieter at night and we used earplugs.
The terrasse and the gym are nice.
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
The big advantage for us : we have been able to park our 2,5m high van in the covered hotel parking. The parking door on the Avenida Fray Servando Teresa de Mier is quite high and we had no problem going through. There is a second parking entrance, that is only 2,1m high.
The hotel is located very close to the Centro Historico de la cuidad. We had no issue going around by foot by day. We did not try our luck at night even if I am convinced it would not have been an issue.
There is a 7eleven 50m from the hotel open 24/7 and very practical for everything you need

The price is 520 pesos. The wifi is good, really caliente water (not mexican caliente..) ands nice lobby. The only bad thing is the horrible noise from the busy street below.
Report Check-InIMPORTANT NOTICE: The maximum height to enter the parking garage of this hotel is about 2.7 m (not 3.5 m as mentioned below; don’t know if there is an open parking lot close by), the maximum length about 5.5 m.
The hotel is conveniently located. Next door is a 7 Eleven, open 24/7. WIFI is erratic, mostly not available in the room. Nevertheless good value for money.
Para quem viaja com carro de 2,50 metros de altura é um bom lugar para ficar, pois é perto de tudo!!
