You can go down into the cave, as there are certified men offering rappelling. The descent starts after the swallows having left the cave, which is around 11 to 12 am. Cost for 1 person 4500, if there are more 4000pp.

This is the actual parking area for the 700m hike down to the sòtano.

Entrance fee is now 100 pesos instead of 40 due to Covid. Pretty ridiculous, but because we already drove all the way here, we still did it. It's only worth it if you wait to see the millions of swift's leaving the Sótano (sinkhole), which could happen anytime between 6:30 and 11:00 in the morning (or a similar timeframe in the evening before dawn), so prepare for a bit of waiting. We entered at 7am and waited until 10am, when the swifts finally woke up :-) You can get roped up to look down the sinkhole for a tip (we gave 20 pesos each), which is quite nice, especially if you do it will the swifts leave the cave. It took probably around 15 minutes for all of the swifts to fly out.

Cool experience! A fair number of people on a Saturday, but still worth it. A small group of swallows exited the cave around 6:30. About an hour later a flock of parrots came out, which was a surprise. Then around 8:15-8:30 thousands of swallows circled up and out. Worth a stop!
