I stayed here and hung out with Nacho. He’s a sweet guy trying to keep coco’s corner alive.
It’s free to stay overnight but for courtesy you should buy something or just give him some $.
Felt safe, then wind was a howling at times but no problem with me. Had a good night sleep.
Nacho is at Cocos corner, has book to sign, beer 30 pesos. He was a friend of Cocos for 25 years. Welcomes visitors. Limited English. He lives on site. Lots of items of history to check out, from hanging under garments to photos from past visitors. Loves visitors!
Report Check-InNice place to stop, have a beer and stay the night. There where two other vans. Felt very safe.
Report Check-InCool spot with lots of Baja racing history. Coco has gone to be with spirits in the sky, but Nacho is now caretaking the place, and he has cold beers for sale for 30 pesos. We also ate our dinner that we prepared inside the restaurant. Almost no traffic on 5 after dark so it was a quiet night’s sleep. No frills, no problems
Report Check-InThis was must stop & see on our Baja RV travels! Legendary Coco welcomed us all to his “Valle de Coco”, we admired the collections and of course signed in his guest book! Cokes, Bud Light & water for sale.
Report Check-InCoco's great, but I felt bad for often failing to understanding his Spanish. He had to repeat a lot of things to me. I showed up on a touring bike, and Coco immediately ushered me in and showed me a tiny back room with a mattress to sleep on. Tons of personality and a huge guestbook of travelers. What a legend!
