Drove around the city center in our Ford Transit camper van and found this place ideal to stay for a night. Flat, wide street right in front of a church and across the street of a hostel.
We arrived around 3pm and got lucky to find this spot but the next morning we were the only car parked here. The area was nice and quite after 10pm on a Saturday. Noone bothered us, safe neighborhood and walking distance to all the sights in this UNESCO world heritage site.

Parked here for two nights also in a Ford Transit van. Right in the front of the church for a Sat and Sun night. Saturday, we thought someone was trying to open our rear box, but they were drunk and peeing behind our van… hit the lock button a few times and they bolted.

Seems safe enough, but definitely loud. Most cars leave at some point in the night. Guy washing cars said not to leave vehicles at night because people might mess with them, but when I said we were sleeping there and would be inside, he kept repeating ‘no hay problema’. So all good I assume. Not the best sleep but ok for a stopover. Hostel across the street has wifi that may reach you depending on where you park. Password 40302010.

parked here for 2 nights right outside the church, really chilled. We had no issues leaving the van alone for the whole day whilst we walked around the town. The road is a little narrow and can be difficult to find parking but it's worth doing a few loops to get parking. a stone throws away for the historical centre and very quiet during the night with a small bit of traffic noise during the day.

Parked here on a Wednesday at 8pm after driving around this are for about 45 minutes. feels safe and level, cops have driven by several times and have not bothered us.

Great location for walking around the centro.
