Something not right?

Description

Street located behind Harbor Freight Tools with lots of room for vehicles of all sizes and no parking restrictions. It’s located in the heart of Ventura‘s east side business district right off of US 101 and Victoria Avenue. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. Groceries, laundry, coffee etc. It’s not a busy street and it seems safe. Not a lot of riffraff hanging around. A few other RVs and vans hanging out here tonight with me. Three bars Verizon 5G very strong! Great spot. Hope everybody keeps it respectful and clean.

There is plenty of parking here tonite, but the place is pretty deserted. Makes me wonder if there was a crack down recently. What really makes this whole general area great though are all the apartment buildings, so you can park on a quiet street, but not in front of a house. i found a different spot a few streets down the way that I liked better. It s best for us peeps to disperse in the neighborhoods and not congregate together to keep from getting noticed and reported. This is a really nice and safe area, and if your rig is a van, pick up or SUV that does not look like a total beater you can blend in here easily. Just keep it stealth. Show up late, leave early, and don't use interior lights.

a good spot ! lots of the surrounding streets are just as fine. it's quiet. which is all you really need. good cell signal and everything you'd need within walking distance.

as others have described. we stayed here 2 nights and weren't disturbed, though we lost our pretty sweet first-night spot (under a tree that blocked some of the streetlights) when we were off running errands the next day. still fine though. utterly quiet from around 10.30pm to 7am. excellent food at the Victoria Pub & Grill around the corner.

Quiet street as described. One older motor home parked ahead of us…not sure if it’s occupied. Another van on opposite side, along with a few other vehicles. A pizza place, grocery store and a pub in the shopping center…Trader Joes just down the road.

Great, safe place for the night. Other comments are still accurate. Safe spot for a couple nights if you plan on moving your vehicle for the day. I stayed in my truck bed with a camper shell & had zero issues. Only things to note is a older motorbike here that may be someone who is homeless but zero issues with them & a couple cars during the night but not bad at all. I’m from Ventura so I chose this spot over others due to knowing what areas are sketchy & what aren’t.

Our first night in our RV, thanks to this app for the location tip! Stayed 4am-10am, quiet, tons of parking.

Plenty of room. Quiet. Better to keep it stealthy. Good spot in Ventura

We had a peaceful and quiet night at this spot. Other RVs and vans was also parked there. Residential area, so do not use generator. Plenty of room for our 30ft RV.

Great place to park for the night! Quiet and with plenty of room.

This was a relatively quiet street behind a row of stores in a strip mall. Across the street was residential housing with their own parking lot. I was in a slide in truck camper, so not particularly stealthy. There were a number of other vehicles on the road ranging from cars to panel vans. The other campers included a van, an older motorhome that I’m not sure was occupied, and a car pulling a very small trailer. I had a relatively restful night with just one incident of a crazy person yelling not far away from me but moving away. Honestly, I feel a lot more comfortable and safer out in the desert in the middle of nowhere, but this was a viable option in the Ventura area. Photo shows the view looking down the road from one end; campers seemed to all be parked on the side behind the strip mall.
