Spent a couple of nights. It was fairly quiet with light traffic but got really wind the second day. Plenty of places to camp spread out along the road where I saw other people set up.

Still perfect ! A pullout area on Alamo rd. better for high clearance vehicles. the corner of Alamo and the side road is huge and would accommodate any size rig. turn right off Alamo to get to the 7 or 8 other great sites. most 2wd friendly. the road gets muddy in the snow or rain.

Nice large pull off with fire pit. Got here in the dark, woke up to a beautiful sunrise and a mountain in the distance. 5G T-Mobile service. Windy. Pretty quiet at night and slept great.

Nice and quite location close to Roswell and Bottomless lakes. Very Good Verizon reception and beautiful city lights.

One of many large pull-outs on the dirt road off of Alamo.
Lots of stars, gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Lights from town were visible but in-obtrusive, kinda pretty :)

Road would be fine for any vehicle - a little bumpy but fine. Pull off flat and big enough for just about anything

one of my favorite spots in New Mexico ! I actually parked at the corner of this road and Alamo Road. large open area would fit multiple large rvs. was an old couch and trash dumped here when I arrived. tried to clean up a little but couldn't dispose of it all. hopefully someone with a truck will haul it off but I was in my motorhome. it's about a 2 mile walk to beautiful views over the Pecos river .. absolutely love it here. worried about the wind warnings today but room to turn into the wind and survive it .. I hope. tbc. beautiful skyline of Roswell at night and the sunsets never disappoint

Nice flat area with a turn around. We are about 1/8 mile off of Alamo road. Nice to have space for the dog to run.

Great place. A little windy all night, and could see the city lights in the distance, but overall, really nice.

Flat lands with lots of scrub brush. A few pullouts along the side dirt road, which is mostly flat packed and easy driving. Pretty quiet after midnight but some periodic thumping sounds (gun shots maybe) and bright flashing lights down the way before then. Great sunrises and sunsets.

great spot, fantastic view, quiet +++. lot of star and 2wd fine.

only self contained or toilet portative. no water, lot of spot along the road.

spot fantastique, super vue, on a tourné sur un chemin à droite au niveau des coordonnées GPS et il y avait plusieurs spot le long de ce chemin. 2 autres camping car aux alentours. tranquille, belle vue et nuit très calme.

véhicule normal ok pas besoin de 4X4 sauf si vous voulez aller très loin de la route.

Beautiful and secluded spot! There is a gun range nearby that you will probably hear, but it's pretty far away. Great Verizon reception, 2WD friendly, and windy/dusty as per usual in NM. Perfect spot outside of Roswell!
Also.. if you walk farther down Alamo Rd you might find small gemstones in the road! 💎

BLM land. Huge area, a few pulloffs. Looks like a great sunset will be here in a half hour. A little windy, very dusty, no trees for blockage but it is gorgeous on this mesa. Looking forward to a sky full of diamond stars! Lights of Roswell in distant. Maybe we will be visited by Aliens tonight….

Some fast, dusty traffic on this road . 1.5 miles down road is Nike Missile Site W10 where the locals shoot guns and assault rifles according to internet search photos. Yes, Assault rifles. I haven’t heard anything yet. Quiet so far…

Quiet. Several flat pullouts on a side road to the right. There were 3 other RVs in the area. Nice sunset view.

I confirmed that this area shows as BLM on the new Mexico maps.

Down this road is Shooting range for the locals but there's lot of side roads for some quite camping Must be self contained No amenities No trash can No water Pack in Pack out 20mins from Roswell Beautiful Desert Pecos diamonds all around Stay Away from the road you'll be cover in dust
