29$ for a spot for our transit van with no fire pit. We were put in 15-N one of the areas outside of the circle. There was a building with showers/bathrooms and a dish washing sink. Showers didn’t get hot but it is October so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Report Check-In

Huge campground just outside of Jasper with beautiful views and plenty of Elks to keep you company (beware of the bulls at the moment!). Sites are a little on the small side and, depending on the amount of neighbors, not very private. Paid $29 per night for a site without electricity and a fire ring. Instead of paying $10 extra for a fire ring we just made a fire in one of the kitchen shelter wood stoves. The bathroom blocks are nice and have plugs but the showers are more lukewarm than hot. However, the disabled shower was nice and hot as it has a temperature regulator.

Report Check-In

Stayed here 2 nights in September. We were able to book day of at the campground. $29 without fire pit, $40 with fire pit and unlimited fire wood. If you see there’s some available, just go there and save yourself the $11.50 fee to book on Parks Canada. The park is full of elk which is fun to wake up to!!

Report Check-In

Very nice campground. Huge, but with lots of trees in lane 21. We saw elks.
Showers weren't hot, so we used the disabled shower wich was much hotter !

Report Check-In

One of the largest — if not THE largest — campground in Canada. Excellent facilities. We got a no-service, no fire pit site for $26 plus tax. We are in loop 29 which has lots of trees for privacy. Each loop is different. Bathrooms are nicer than mine at home!

Report Check-In

I walked in at 7:45pm on a Sunday and was able to snag a spot at the check-in desk without a prior reservation. For a truck camper.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite. Has all hot showers and all that jazz. Saw elk in the campground too!

We noticed that the campsite hosts regular stargazing events with staff from the Jasper Planetarium & Observatory for ~40$. We went to the Planetarium/Observatory itself for their event which was really cool, so can only assume this will be great too!

Report Check-In

Very nice campground. All facilities seems to be new. The showers are amazing, warm and included. Walk in area for tents behind the reception building with Picknick tables and washroom (incl. showers) nearby.
Tent 24€ (CAN)

Report Check-In

Very huge campground with services. Picnic table. Not a lot of intimacy but toilets and showers are very modern. You can even charge your phones in small lockers. A little bit of connection

Report Check-In

Large campground with nice bathrooms and showers. Good cell service.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Stayed 3 nights in two different spots. Really impressive modern bathrooms. You can sit inside and charge your batteries. We saw many elks on the site. We had a site without service which is listed at 29$ on the Park Canada website but with all the fees the total is more like 40$.

Report Check-In

we paid 40+$ for one night, free hot showers. wild animals close by.

Report Check-In

This was the only campground open 'within' the park ... 5/3 opening day. Lovely facilities, accurately described above.

Report Check-In

Campground is now closed for the season. Waipiti is still open

Report Check-In

Two nights, great washing facilities! Sites somewhat open.

Report Check-In

very large and very new. little privacy due to removed trees. the most trees are in section 15-16, but these don't have fire pits. very clean washrooms and showers.

Report Check-In

we pand 38,50 CD for one night without hook up.
it is Thanksgiving but not to crowded.
los of parc campgrounds are closed at this time.
Whistler should be open for longer.
nice place.

Report Check-In

Nice, clean and super huge campground.
A lots of elks there.
Warm showers.
spent here 3 night (2 of them we have to pay for firepit even though we didn't want a place with firepit.

Report Check-In

Cheapest option for camping here is $29.50. To get it, ask for a site with No firepit, and of course no hook ups. No firepit means no fire permit charge.
They also told me at check-in that they are out of wood, so everyone is getting the fire permit refunded right now.
Huge campground (700+ sites), but surprisingly quiet.

Report Check-In

Nice big campground, most spots are very open without trees, some of them are more covered. Had a very hot shower the first night, only just warm the second night. It's just a push button. The handicap shower you can control yourself. Even though it's full its quiet.
Saw some Elk.
There has been 2 bear sightings on the campground in the past 2 weeks so be very bear aware, as always.

Report Check-In

A great campground with multi sani dump stations on one area of the campground. Beautiful and clean shower buildings. Deer and elk everywhere!

Report Check-In

Large campground with hundreds of sites. some sites have electricity. Nice new bath houses with showers. Elk everywhere. We came back from a bike ride and had an Elk 10 yards from our van. Minutes later another showed up. they grazed and nested 15 yards from our campsite for 4 hours. Woke up this morning and we had 4 elk roaming the campground, 2 cows and 2 bulls. They are not afraid of people or dogs but everyone is keeping their distance. They obviously frequent the campground often. Ranger told us an Elk gave birth in the campground last week.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

18000km since February 2022 around Canada and this is the best campground we’ve stayed in! Unserviced sites are the way to go as you have much more privacy 15QQ close to showers, washrooms and sinks to wash dishes. Hot clean and new showers bonus that they are free too. Can’t recommend this place enough especially for families!

Report Check-In

great place. Asked for a quiet site and got16c totally quiet and 28$ p.night excl.tax. and no full hookup.Great hot showers. Saw Elk in the morning

Report Check-In

As described, only the showers were cold (which was really a shame given the brand new building and cold weather).

Report Check-In

Huge RV park that can probably host 100s but my site with electricity is far enough away from neighbors with plenty of trees for privacy. $40+ for the night. 🐕 friendly. Free firewood.🔥 pit and picnic table at each site. The two regular 🚿 were ice cold but the handicap accessible 🚿 was nice and warm. Clean facilities. Okay signal for Google fi. An elk as tall as my van greeted us when we arrived!

Report Check-In

Camping Nouvellement ouvert belle installations douches stations de vidanges (6) certains terrains ont l’électricité d’autres pas abris pour campeurs avec tente si il pleut, prix raisonnable.

Report Check-In

Campground now open !
The facilities are all new! Hot free shower!
Good place except there no trees, no privacy…we can see all our neighbors

Report Check-In

It’s fully renovated and open again. Sadly many of the trees needed to be removed due to the pine beetles.

Report Check-In

Great campground, recently renovated. Clean quality shower and bathroom facilities and all the camp spots are in nice areas.
$28 for an unserviced site. Full service sites available.
Close enough to get a taxi in and out of town if you need to

Report Check-In

Close for 2030 https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/pn-np/ab/jasper/activ/passez-stay/camping?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=wapiti_campground

Report Check-In

Still closed in 2020 season, huge/extensive works going on at the site. Looks like it might open 2021?

Report Check-In

This campground is close for 2019 ! They have to renovate it including the pipes and electricity.

Report Check-In

Parks Canada, https://www.pc.gc.ca, states that Whistlers campground is closed for the 2019 season for renovations.

Report Check-In

Huge campground. Shower and firewood location not very convenient. Did the trick though. Hot showers. Will be renovated in 2019. When we got there it started snowing, in no time all outside taps were frozen.. Paid $27 for a van and a fire permit was around $8, including wood. Resident elk included. :)

Report Check-In

Big campground, hot showers included in the price. In 2019 they will close for renovation.
$27.50 the cheapest option.

Report Check-In

27.40CAD/night. Big campground as described. "Only" 32 showers for the whole campground, there must be lines in high season. Big and clean dump facilities.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful campground. It's huge (781 sites). Book ahead in peak season. Very popular. The park comes with deer, moose and a grizzly. So follow the usual bear rules. Perfect location in Jasper cause it's so central.

Report Check-In

very nice campground.
wild life is very appealing.

thanks

Report Check-In

Nice campground. We got a few bars of 3G reception with Rogers and sometimes LTE. If you don’t need anything from the village we would camp more outside of the village (it will be cheaper there). We paid 27 CAD for no hookups here (you can fill water and dump though). Outside the village it will be 15 CAD.

Report Check-In
