Another long trip from Minnesota and I figured we could camp here for the night before Bentonville Bike Fest kicked off. When I got here, there were 2 other campers setup and talking. We parked and popped up our roof top tent and we were asleep by 10pm, Just to get woken up by the police at 11:15 pm. They asked us all politely to leave and park hours were closed from 10pm to 5am. This was the first time we got booted out. I had heard from a couple buddies that live here, that law enforcement was cracking down on non permitted campers because the locals were getting upset that there was no place to park when they wanted ride at a particular trailhead. We kindly left and will not try and camp there anymore.

What a save for a long night drive from Minnesota (11hours)
We got to NWA early and we cant check in to Blowing Springs Campground until 3pm tomorrow. Checked iOverlander app and this is a prime secluded spot by the trailhead. No houses and 1 portaJohn. we will get a good nights sleep so we can Ride MTB for 3 full days!!! Cell service is GREAT, Verizon 4g.

I stayed here two nights while riding mtb in Bentonville. It's a 20 min drive to Coler and 15 mins to Slaughter pen, there's also trails that look fun from this parking lot. The service was in and out on ATT but could always send texts. There was a porta potty here. It is near a road but kind of tucked away and the noise isn't bad.

As described. Porta potty still here on our visit. There's also a water fountain but it wasn't working today. Many of the ones in the area weren't, I suspect because it's still early in the season and theres a risk of freezing. Should be operational in the summer months

Trailhead parking lot for extensive MTB trails north of Bentonville. No signs regarding overnight parking. This lot is pretty secluded with no homes in sight. Paved lot, almost flat, didn’t need much adjustment for leveling. Portapotty in lot, but marking this place with no bathroom in case it isn’t here frequently. Cell service is spotty at best - AT&T LTE 1 bar and sometimes zero. So dark and quiet. Not suitable for trailers or RVs over 24 feet.
