Totally worth it ! A bit expensive : 12$ USD for 2 people with a van, but it’s amazing. The view is beautiful, the showers are clean and hot, and the camping places are hidden from the wind.

Nice camping, with clean and hot bathrooms. Wind shelters are helpful because the wind blows hard here, even if you're in a van. You can enjoy the sunset while eating in the little basement which has full panoramic windows. Lot of guanacos around it too. 12000 Ars for 2 people the 27/01/24.

I’m not sure this place is really worth it unless you’re in a tent. $12 for 2 people. Showers only stay warm enough maybe for 1 person to shower, we never managed to get hot water morning nor night. Bathroom doors are weird sliding doors with big gaps in them, not very private. No wifi. They have 2 metre high circular wind shelters for each spot, so nice if you’re in a tent. Indoor sinks for dishes. Indoor seating area. Saw lots of guanacos and rheas! We arrived at 10:30pm, office still open. No pets. Good maps. They let us fill up our water tank with potable water using the hose by the restaurant refugio down the road.

Very awesome chalet with hot shower, wood heater, tables and living room with nice view. Kitchen but no cooking stuff. We paid 10.000 for 2 adults and our 2 children paid 6000. Total 16.000 AR. Possibility to paid by credit card. Expensive but really nice.

Nicht geeignet für größere Wohnmobile. WLAN funktioniert nur bei der Anmeldung, und leider auch nicht gut. Würde ich nicht empfehlen. 10.000 ARS für 2 Personen inkl. Van. Platz nicht gepflegt.

Open now for the season. The first campground (this pin on the map) is 8.500 ARG for 2 people in a van. Very nice common house (we were the only people on the camping so we had it to ourselves) with fireplace, big windows, sinks with warm water, hot showers, toilets.

The second campground is apparently 5.000 pesos for two people but no shower and only pit toilets. We passed next to it next day on our way to the Cueva hike and we’re happy we chose the first campground.

came from this entrance to do the cuevo de los manos, we finished our tour around 5pm and on return wanted to stay at this campsite for the night. in october everything was closed, no one else around and looked like work was being done to the buildings to get ready for high season ? stayed for the night for free didn’t see anyone

2000 pesos per person to stay here in our car outside the wind shelters, since we arrived late they were all taken. A few good flat spots to choose from but tough with the wind. Nice facilities, potable water and a kitchen area with dish soap and sponge.

Report Check-In

It’s a gorgeous area, but not at all suitable if your vehicle needs to be flat. The wind shelters are also not big vehicle friendly - our truck camper definitely did not fit. 2.000 pesos per person. Enjoy the wildlife - there’s a lot of it!

Staid here one night, nobody else was there. Place was actually closed because the team attended a workshop, but they let us stay in the camping area anyway. There was no hot water and the men‘s toilets did not work properly. We still had to pay 4000 ARS (~12$) for two in a tent. In the end, we did not pitch our tent because of the wind, but stayed inside the common room with our camping gear. Even with no wind, it could be difficult pitching a tent here since the floor is covered with lots of rocks. There is also no Wi-Fi at the camping common room, only at the hosteria.

Fairly new campsite that’s part of the refugio la puesta de los toldos. New, nice and clean facilities. The camping area is a bit further than the refugio and has its own common room with bathrooms. You are also free to use the common rooms of the hosteria which are beautifully decorated and offer some of the fastest WiFi we have seen in Patagonia. Sunsets, stars and sunrise were stunning. Price is currently 4,000ARS per night. Only downside is the shower which barely had any pressure, other than that this place is wonderful!

Looks good but it costs now 4000 per night for two adulds and a van. So we didn't stay.
