Nice spot beside a small (inactive) church nearby the local community of "El Carmen Arcotete".
Prices (December 2021):
Entrance fee to the "Parque touristico": 30 mex. Pesos per Person.
Overnight camping: 70 mex. Pesos for a car and 2 Persons.
You can also rent a Palapa with fire place for Barbecue (30 mex. Pesos).
Small waterfall nearby. Very quiet during the week and at night. On weekends local families doing Barbeque.
On the track right below the spot you can find a very little and simple grocery store with basic stuff like tomatoes, onions, rice, soft drinks, etc. A nice family cares about the spot, which is very clean.
No Telcel connection.

We pulled in just after 6:00. There was a woman there who said the guy who works there had just left. We pulled in and parked and figured we’d pay in the morning. The next morning the guy was around and seemed slightly annoyed, but we just paid him and he went on with his work. Fun place to explore and it was quiet. The church is open during the day, and you can climb up into the bell tower which was fun for the kids. There is also a giant concrete slide here off in the distance that was really fun for the kids.
