Beautiful, free campground in the national forest. Shady with mossy trees. Tables and fire rings. Monday in Dec. and we are the only people here. Millions of mosquitos. Be prepared.

Beautiful camp but no going out of my van because of swarming yellow flies. Just wanted a nice over night but would have been better off staying at a loves on 95.
Report Check-InThis place is really nice. 8 spots to camp. Free. You have to sign in on site. Leave no trace. No amenities at all. Dry campground.
Report Check-InGreat place ,very clean and I felt safe! Nice trails nearby and nice big spots to camp! Well maintained dirt road in ,and had two bars on Verizon , please keep clean so everyone can continue to enjoy this beautiful place!
Report Check-InThere is no Santee National Forest. I think this is a duplicate of the Santee Coastal Reserve, which is run by the state DNR. I didn't actually visit, but was doing some research for a future trip, and could find no online evidence of a national forest by that name or in that location. Note that there is a nearby icon on your map for the Coastal Reserve with a similar description.
Report Check-InGreat location but it does have a few mosquitoes so come prepared.
large campsites as we made it in with our 34' Class A.
Beautiful spot to camp, 2 other people here on a holiday weekend. Tons of Spanish moss hanging from large oak trees and beautiful wooded forests. We were going to camp here and did not when the vehicle got SWARMED by mosquitoes and horse flies as soon as we pulled up.
