Description

Standard rest stop with overnight parking and bathrooms. Vending machines too. Several boon dockers and semi's. Relatively quiet (in a pretty rural stretch).

Nice rest area with a few minute walk to a veteran's memorial. Also plenty of wooded space for pup walks. Agreed that it's quieter than most other rest areas. I found a somewhat level spot on the far side and had a good night's sleep.

Report Check-In

Quiet for a rest stop. Not as much road noise as you typically find. Would stay again.

nice place, gazebos to sit, and it's huge. really nice place to boondock for a night

This is a beautiful rest area. If you are smaller then a semi, stay to the right. There is a good handful of large parking spots on the curb. The kiddos had fun running around in the woods. A fun surprise...there is a family of kittens living there.

Clean bathrooms and lots of vending machines. The trucks pass by at all hours but the noise isn’t that bad since they have a separate exit. They have several picnic tables and the Memorial Park is also really nice.

Great place to park for the night. A few boondockers. We found a very quiet and pretty spot Vietnam Veteran Memorial Park - we woke up to one other car down there. It was still well-lit but less traffic and people down the hill. The bathrooms were super clean! Stayed one night in our sedan.
