Nice area after I finally found it. Top of Levee turn right about 1 1/2 miles then left. Gate is very narrow but my truck camper fit with room to spare. I would stay here again.

Beautiful place. Easy to access without 4x4. Parking for plenty of units. See photos for reference points of where to enter. WMA site shows primitive camping is allowed in shipland. We parked on the far right by the white rock so not to block the entrance or turn around for the primitive boat launch.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Right by the Mississippi. Narrow entrance gate but no problem. Nice and high gravel road leading in WMA. Self register at kiosk. Flat area even for bigger rigs. Good cell and internet service on ATT and Mint.
