Latest Check-Ins

Quiet night, several other vans in parking lot here and in vicinity overnight. Good Verizon signal. Work on the field started very early in the morning so we moved along.

We arrived at around 10pm and love the spot! Bathroom was accessible as well so that was a plus! Nobody bothered us. I even had my generator out.

2nd night had a truck sneak in and lights off facing us and we were a little creeped out and we just decided to pack up and leave and go to a truck stop station (Pilot). If you’re brave it’s a good spot. I had my wife and 2 kids with me so I just didn’t want to take any risk if it was going that way.

Great place fie a night or two. We parked between the Charleston Battery baseball field and soccer fields. Two portable toilets are on on field. Free Wi-Fi from the baseball field or College of Charleston nearby. Police drove thru at least once but didn't stop. We heard coyote cries during the night.

The best parking lot boondocking we’ve experienced! Three nights over the Christmas weekend. Very quiet, walking to the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier & cold war sub memorials. Easy 10 minute drive or Uber into the historic district of Charleston.

Police drive-by at night to patrol but no knock, just a wave.
