This is a national forest campground right off 191. Only four sites are open, but I was here on a Saturday and it was deserted. There is a pit toilet, no other amenities. The self service pay station does not have a posted fee, just a suggestion of donation, so this is technically free . Some road noise but not at night. Great Verizon service!

On Saturday and Sunday the traffic noise wasn't too bad, but on Monday that changed. Jake Brakes and diesels struggling up the hill throughout the night. I have gotten used to it and I'm going to stay another couple of nights to let the rain pass. Pit toilet is very clean, cell service is good. They have even added a 250gal water tank for guests. I am not sure how long the water has been there so I don't trust it to drink, but it has been handy for washing up.
The best campsites are off limits right now, I suspect from lack of need. At full capacity there are 12 campsites. Right now there are 4.
Report Check-InRain forced me to move from my dispersed spot as my exit would have been blocked by rain. Great little campground with good Verizon service. It's a Saturday night and there is one other vehicle here, but only four sites.
